Over the past 7 days, @coinbase has ranked second among tokenized stock issuers by DEX trading volume
Coinbase's assets account for 26.7% of total trading volume, just behind @RobinhoodCrypto 's 27.3%
But here's what makes this comparison even more interesting
"Robinhood's" tokenized stock market cap stands at $175.2M, while "Coinbase's" market cap is only $37.6M
That means Coinbase's market cap is just 21.5% of Robinhood's, yet their DEX trading volume shares are almost equal
In other words, Coinbase is generating nearly the same trading activity with a much smaller asset base
And Coinbase's tokenized equities currently have a market cap of $37.6M on @base
This shows how quickly Coinbase's tokenized equity market is expanding through Base
The gap in market cap is huge, but the trading activity tells a different story

Base in October
Activity remained strong
DEX volume reached $30.03B, while perps volume stood at $23.16B, growing nearly 4x in a single month. Net inflows were $428M, TVL reached $5.88B and the stablecoin market cap stood at $5.14B
Stablecoin transfer volume over the last 30 days was $2.58T
User activity showed a similar picture. Monthly active addresses reached 7.2M, with 2.39M new addresses added in October
Tokenized stock DEX volume reached $2.5B, up 5.1%
Base is also leading in payments. In the latest month, stablecoin card spending settled on Base reached $259M, the highest among all chains
In FX spot DEX, Base recorded $412M in volume, accounting for approximately 54% of the total across all chains
Lending is active too. Base holds $7.6B in deposits and $2.7B in loans. Over the last 30 days, lending generated $11M in gross interest
In October, chain revenue was $2.54M, while app revenue reached $17.8M
Agentic payments are still in their early stages. According to x402scan, Base recorded 2.67M transactions and $1.11M in volume over the last 30 days

It's been a BIG week for tokenization
From major institutions making moves to new use cases for real-world assets, there's been a lot happening.
Let's take a look at some of the latest developments.
> @The_DTCC' s Tokenization Service is LIVE.
DTCC officially launched its tokenization service on October 28.
20 major financial institutions have signed up, including JPMorgan, Citi, Fidelity and Morgan Stanley.
The service brings traditional stocks, ETFs and US Treasuries into blockchain-based systems while preserving their existing ownership rights.
A major step for institutional adoption.
> @solana leads in RWA inflows.
Solana attracted $918M in RWA net inflows over the past 30 days, excluding stablecoins.
> @Uber explores tokenized money market funds.
Uber is working with HSBC and Franklin Templeton on a pilot involving tokenized money market funds.
The idea is to let idle cash earn returns while remaining accessible for payments, even on weekends.
> Companies push back against tokenized stocks.
Around 50 companies have reportedly raised objections to third-party platforms offering tokenized versions of their shares.
The concern is around who has the right to tokenize their shares and how ownership is represented.
It shows that tokenization still has important legal questions to address.

Canton continues to attract attention following the DTCC launch and Uber's tokenization pilot.
Its growing role in institutional finance shows that blockchain adoption is moving beyond small experiments.
Tokenization is expanding beyond simply putting real world assets onchain.
We're seeing new ways to own, access, transfer and use these assets.
There are still challenges around regulation, liquidity and ownership rights, but the progress is hard to ignore.
Tokenization is moving forward and there's a lot more to watch.

I used to send him alpha plays and money sometimes, helped him
out and I used to send him ETH while he sent me some cash sometimes.
I always sent him more and told him
to keep it.
Also sent him great plays, I met him in the @base trenches
while meeting him, he was also part of some bass communities that I personally liked
One thing I noticed while getting to know him is that he has a huge gambling addiction
He lost a lot of money in the trenches and then I caught him very often playing online casinos and he was pretty much 24/7 gambling
some people on base have warned me about him then because they said he also started to nuke a lot of projects that he got on boarded in early
Basically, a guy that was not trustworthy, but I have treated him like a friend
Now around nine months ago, I sent him around $3000
All he had to do was basically send me the money in cash
A few days ago, he very often asked me if I need to exchange money
And he was so desperate and asking me so often that I actually realize something is weird, but I still trusted him
Anyways, he blocked me after I sent him the money and disappeared
I’ve never seen him in the trenches again and I’ve never seen his profile active anywhere
Thankfully, I found out his real name
I have the name of his girlfriend too
I know that he’s living in Australia, Perth and I make this post because if someone knows him or has any information about him, I want you to reach out to me
My problem is not the money anymore. It’s the disrespectful behavior of treating people who treated you good like this.
And the worst part is, he could have asked me for money if he was in need because of his addiction but instead he had to break my trust and think he can get away with it
