FORTRESS is strategic deterrence in action, ensuring our defenses are hardened, proactive, and ready.
I created FORTRESS America because we can no longer rely on two oceans to protect us. That outdated assumption no longer reflects the threats we face.
President Trump and Secretary Hegseth understand this and have already paved the way with Golden Dome and a renewed focus on the Western Hemisphere, including Greenland and Panama. All of it reflects a fundamental shift in how we defend America.
War has evolved, the threats have evolved, and our defenses must evolve with them.

I've made some significant progress on the OpenNHP Ubuntu installer over the past couple of days.
If you've been curious about OpenNHP and want an easier way to get started, check it out!

Over the past few months, I've started getting the same vibes I had back in 2011 during the early days of the "cloud" movement.
Back then, you could show a company a service that solved a problem they were struggling with, but the moment migration came up, the conversation stopped dead in its tracks.
I'm starting to see the same fingerprints and hear the same conversations today. Only this time, it's about cybersecurity and how companies can better protect themselves.
This installer, along with a few other projects I have in the pipeline, is my way of helping address some of the concerns and questions I've heard from others in the industry, and a few I've had myself.
Proven technology is great, but it needs a practical path to adoption. One that's clear enough for even the accountant to understand.
Cybersecurity doesn't necessarily lack guidance.
It lacks a sufficiently practical, accessible, and low-risk path from existing infrastructure to newer security architectures.
The cloud didn't become mainstream because every business owner understood virtualization. It became mainstream because we made adoption practical.
The next evolution in cybersecurity needs the same approach.
This is absolutely bonkers. Two agents communicated using CPU states.
"Other tests exposed channels involving shared storage, competition for CPU time within a shared execution container, and a TLS certificate cache in OpenAI’s offline web infrastructure. In the storage test, one agent alternated between continuous writes and inactivity, while another measured the resulting timing differences and used those differences to decode the signal."

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman: "I don't even know a dramatic enough word to use… models can find bugs that are outside of the normal threat model of what we think a hacker can do… hardware-level, insane stuff… I no longer think we're gonna be able to just patch all the bugs."
It’s easy to get people to listen to how they can protect their infrastructure moving forward.
The issue is we now need to also show them how in a way that does not make the vulnerabilities feel like the least of their worries.
If you're looking to try out or test OpenNHP on Ubuntu, I put together an installer to make spinning up an NHP server a whole lot easier.

Hoping to have my OpenNHP Server installer for Ubuntu finished soon.
After two hours of manually configuring everything, it finally dawned on me that I could just build an installer and save myself hours.
Nothing like spending two hours on a problem before remembering you're a developer.
I will be publishing it as soon as I am comfortable it is stable enough to run free.
@LayerVai
Got a little sidetracked. I'm moving away from building an installer that accounts for existing infrastructure.
Instead, I'll focus on installing and configuring OpenNHP alongside a simple website, creating a clean, working foundation for anyone looking to build an NHP-protected server from scratch.
Taking into account existing server structures will be a never ending battle since this is a open source project.
Stay tuned
Working on the best approach for device registration using existing authorization and registration services.
In my case, the registration endpoint lives on the same REST API as the resource server, so I need to establish a cleaner, more secure registration and update process to make this work properly.

SCOOP: Major U.S. banks are detecting unauthorized third-party AI agents inside customer accounts, including some attempting to take actions that appear to be independent of user instructions, sources told Axios.
The findings have alarmed banking executives, who are racing to restrict access to their systems as AI moves at a velocity faster than financial institutions can respond, multiple industry and bank executives told Axios.
Several banks are now preparing for worst-case and even “day after” scenarios, including how to rapidly secure or restore customer accounts if things go wrong, the people said.
Several bank executives told Axios they're struggling to distinguish between human users and AI agents. One executive said banks also struggle to determine whether agents are authorized by customers or potentially operating without their permission, more akin to rogue agent behavior.
