π Due to a combination of strong northeasterly winds & ongoing king tides, moderate to major coastal flooding is expected along Floridaβs East Coast, extending to the Florida Keys, & along the tidal St. Johns River.
Β
Water levels will rise and inundate normally dry areas at high tides, flooding roads & threatening homes & businesses in coastal & low-lying areas. π
Prepare now to protect your property:
βͺοΈ Use sandbags to help reduce water intrusion.
βͺοΈ Move vehicles, valuables & important items to higher ground.
βͺοΈ Secure outdoor items & move them away from areas that could flood.
Check with your countyβs emergency management office for available sandbag assistance at FloridaDisaster.org/Counties.
Donβt wait for water to rise. Prep now! β οΈ
