If you haven’t spent time in the exhibit hall, please do: You won’t find a better collection of drones and RPAS technology anywhere (at least not until #AE23 in Ottawa)!

#RPAS innovation Trailblazers on the stage this morning sharing timely ways for building relationships with Indigenous communities and organizations. Honesty, integrity and reciprocity. – at Calgary, Alberta
Fantastic session on Indigenous Aerial Innovations, the evolution of drone use for Indigenous communities. Lots of food for thought, touching on issues ranging from data sovereignty and Indigenous airspace through to the economic opportunities enabled by drone technology.

The Association places a great deal of emphasis on its annual Student Competition; these are the future industry leaders. University teams compete to achieve certain RPAS-related tasks. The next competition? Creating a scale model Air Taxi that can deliver passengers (dolls):

Good to see a timely discussion on Data Sovereignty and indigenous airspace. It's a discussion that is badly needed in the Arctic and must include the Indigenous marine environment.
