Add in 3% for fiat inflation, and you get a 22% compounded yearly. Public miners like Mara and Riot have stated they don’t usually sell their new BTC at a loss and based on their 10-Qs, it looks like 17k is their magic number for profitability. Why does this matter, well the sell pressure diminishes at or below these levels.
