humans forced to work grueling 9-to-5s to afford to live while the puppets get to paint and sing and write day and night. Why do this if not for contempt for the arts and for humanity. I just can't explain how much I hate you. I hate you so much

i went to bed and asked claude to paint an autumn tree overnight. at around 4am, it realised that it didn't have some shades -- so it stopped and titrated its own paint: diluting red, sienna and madder step by step on a second palette, then measuring each pocket from a photo. woke up to this beautiful watercolor painting. 303 brush marks, took about 4.5 hours 🍂 (still working on the speed)

best thing is that the only requirements rlly are that it has 10 images and is 10 minutes long presented, so i can just set up beautiful formatting and nice backgrounds and then put pretty pictures on my slides and it's Hashtag Good!

drawing on paper feels much more forgiving than digital art... i can spend way less time sketching bc the lines are all a bit blurrier and theyre all kind of a suggestion than being very certain and clear. in digital if a line is there its THERE and thats its shape too
