the issue with the sexualisation of nuns isn't because it's disrespectful to christianity it's because it follows the male rape fantasy of sullying a "chaste" woman
i think a religious institution that has directly contributed to the torture, rape, murder and desecration of multiple smaller religions and peoples with the purpose of spreadings its influence worldwide can stand a little artistic blasphemy and subversion
i think theyโre in their right to borrow the imagery that has been showed down their throats to express the myriad of problems within the institution even if you might personally think of it as unorthodox
