The statue of Prometheus is finally finished.
It was cast in Paris, crossed the Atlantic, and was assembled at Starbase. It took us 100 days to go from nothing to this.
People of the West, we have lived through an era devoid of dreams, devoid of destiny.
But the time has come to reclaim our dream of antiquity.
In a few months, we will start building a new city. It will be the most magnificent city in all of history.
After all, the great dream of the West has always been to rebuild Rome.
Come walk beside us in this endeavor. The world is waiting.

ran my second half marathon today 🥳
2:40, down from 2:45 last time 😎
the training block was genuinely all over the place this round. gym got in the way of runs, runs got in the way of gym, some weeks just didn't happen. went out way too quick in the first 10k and spent the last 5 paying rent on it.
none of that mattered once i crossed the line. five minutes shaved off, legs still attached. i'll take it.

How B.J. Novak’s face ended up on random products around the world..
A few years ago, someone mistakenly uploaded a photo of B.J. Novak, best known for playing Ryan Howard on The Office, to a public-domain website. Because the image was now freely available, it ended up being used on all kinds of random products around the world.
When Novak eventually discovered what had happened, he reportedly found the situation more amusing than frustrating, saying, “I am too amused to do anything about it.”
