Even PRussell is tired. Hoping for some staff changes this winter brake.

“I do believe it has just been bad luck, but we can't just be content in saying it's bad luck because that would be foolish...bad luck once, twice, three times, but 14 out of 20 races seems a bit much.”
Mercedes and Russell will review whether things could have been done better
What are these six??? I'd say Netherlands, Monza and Madrid - all ruined by team decisions, not any major issues. And his three wins, maybe? But realistically, they also had tech issues - no boost at the start in AUS, straight line speed issue in AUT, no boost at restart in Baku
Ijbol. Have you seen him in f2? He was a scrappy ugly duckling. The glow up in 2023 was smth no one saw coming.
63s survived three years of beefing the worst of the cult, experienced the emailgate, went through the Qatar war and are now going through Idus Martiae Mercedes style. And everybody is crying because of one insignificant race? Grow a spine.
It is Nowember. Chinese clocked it back in March. Catch up.
Weaponised whinge.
What is it with him and his gf? Their headloss this week is smth else.
🚨 | Max Verstappen has continued his criticism of Liam Lawson following their collision in Mexico:
“I’ve always supported him. I get along with him very well, and I’ve always spoken very positively about him within the team.”
“Of course, it sucked for him last year. I think it’s really unfortunate when something like that happens. I’m really not a difficult person.”
“When I put on my helmet, I always try to get the most out of it, but not in practice.”
“I just won’t let anyone push me off the track. That doesn’t happen to me.”

also, while insightful, telemetry shows that the information shared here isn't entirely true -
1) Russell had earlier & more severe Superclipping compared to Antonelli on BOTH the run down to T11 & the Back Straight for ALL Q2 & Q3 laps
2) the explanation works when comparing Russell's Q2 lap with his Q3 run 2 lap, but NOT when comparing it with his Q3 run 1 lap (he carried more throttle but had similar Superclip)
being a couple of the details in telemetry proving that this isn't the full picture.
📊 shows ⬇️ isn't entirely true (RUS's Superclipping deficit to ANT started in Q2, not Q3 | in Q3 run 1, RUS carried more throttle thru Esses but had similar Superclip to T11 compared to 'his' Q2 run 2 | etc.*), but here's more insight into how stupid these regulations are:
Anthony Davidson (Mercedes development driver):
in Qualifying, George was doing pretty well. Q1, Q2, the lap times were good. In Q3, it all seemed to fall down. So, I asked his engineer, Marcus Dudley, what happened. I was just inquisitive, and he said, well what happened was: he went through the esses, [he] carried great speed through turn five and particularly turn six, where he was more on the throttle. So he carried the speed there on throttle, but by being on throttle and instead of being slightly half throttle or off throttle, you're not now charging the battery. So the drivers are kind of using [...] so if you're off the throttle more in those high-speed corners, charging the battery there was more advantageous to minimize the Superclip down towards Turn 11 where the electrical energy [...]. So he did the great esses, and then arrived down towards turn 11 and was hit with this big Superclip. That messes with his breaking point, turns in too early, because he's going too slow now compared to where you usually are, and sort of messes the apex up of Turn 11. And so you start to understand how annoyingly frustrating these these cars can be to drivers that are naturally very fast in high-speed corners.
No, it does and rightfully so. Imagine, there are two olympic runners and one of them gets shot in the knee, he continues to run, but gets overtaken. Is it because the other one runs faster or the broken knee doesn't allow the first one to keep up?
