Doing prototype with UE. Mostly doing it for fun and learning but I have some rough vision.

While many complain about the office, remote work during the pandemic had a hidden psychological cost: it accelerated time and eroded our memories. For myself and many of my peers, those ~2-3 years left a mental void. The issue wasn't the office routine itself, but the lack of daily anchors - waking up, getting dressed, commuting, and casual human interactions. Without these boundaries, the days blended together until time lost all meaning. Working and living non-stop in a small apartment ended up making life pass by completely unnoticed.

IMHO, Remedy is the closest thing to Valve - in terms of depth, atmosphere, and the way their games connect with and build upon each other. It’s not just another collection of separate IPs. There’s a deeper system underneath - a web of connections, references, and ideas that make the whole universe feel interconnected. Gonna play Day 1.

Fixing that vehicle geometry to game dev technical standards would take much more time than making the vehicle manually from scratch. Not only that, it would look better 🤷‍♂️

Testing more features for Infinity Bevel - merge by distance, for cleaner bevels without jagged edges or unpredictable results, - tilt, for both chamfer and round bevels, - collapse all bevels (snapshot aka history), revertible at any time (Blender booleans are heavy, especially in Exact mode, so this helps a lot)

Working on new addon for Blender - Infinity Bevel. Non destructive, CAD-like beveling.

Working on update for Cylinder Resample: - Now interactive - adjust the resolution in real time, with live preview, - Supports circular, oval and irregular cross-sections, - Works on hollow pipes with wall thickness - inner and outer walls are resampled together, - Handles both open-ended and closed loop tubes, - Fixed a lot of bugs on complex geometry, including tubes that bend in multiple directions, Update will be available in few days.

You are trying to convince me that in an era of open-space offices - or remote work from cramped apartments shared with family - people will actually walk around the room, or even just sit at their desks, talking out loud to a computer? This highlights a fundamental clash between technology and our modern lifestyle.
