Someone brutally threw a Diwali bomb into this innocent dog's mouth, blowing it apart!
When an incident happened with a child, @ndtv was quick to tweet and cover it—so why is media completely silent when a voiceless animal is subjected to such horrific cruelty?
Who will speak up for him?

This is a Javan slit-faced bat, facing extinction because consumers, especially in the US, buy them for Halloween taxidermy decorations.
Apparently, people like their "rabbit-like" ears.
The Center for Biological Diversity filed a petition on October 29 asking the US Fish and Wildlife Service to list them under the Endangered Species Act.
They say listing the Javan slit-faced bat would meaningfully contribute to the species’ conservation by strictly regulating the import, export, and interstate commerce of the species, and hope the listing will also raise awareness of the species and its threats within the United States.
Let's start spreading awareness right now of the madness of driving a species to extinction for a frivolous decoration.
The full petition is in this thread. (1/2)

This death trap material should be banned from sale.
Our festivities should not cause terrible harm to wildlife.
The real horror of Halloween.
Artificial cobweb: a bit of fake fun for you, but a very real and terrifying death for them.
If you see your neighbours using it, it's possible they don't know the danger so please print out this simple leaflet and pop it through their door:
tinyurl.com/HalloweenHedgeho…
The fine, strong synthetic fibres of this lethal 'web' are difficult for animals to see at dusk and can quickly wrap around their legs, wings, and neck, trapping and killing birds, insects and mammals.
When Eden the hedgehog struggled to free herself the web tightened, cutting off circulation and causing deep wounds.
Can you imagine the pain and sheer terror?
And then seeing dawn approach, while hanging there, tightly bound and helpless, only an inch above the ground but suffering slow strangulation.
Aside from being stressed, dehydrated, starving and exhausted, she also had horrific bite/peck wounds to her face, where she had been held there, helpless, unable to curl and defend herself, while a predator tried to eat her alive.
Tragically her constriction injuries were too severe to survive, and poor Eden had to be put to sleep.
If you have used this deadly cruel trap to 'decorate' your garden, I beg you - take it down now.
Please spread this vital information, and help save lives.

They are going after everyone who gave support for the rescue on March 15 - even people who just took photos. We will hear the evidence against all 51 defendants for the first time today!

People doing this and preying on elderly people need to be permanently removed from society. Deport them or lock them up …that said, I don’t want to support them with my tax dollars either. cbc.ca/news/canada/british-c…

A gorgeous 4 day old calf who should have had his whole life ahead of him, finds himself waiting outside the slaughterhouse instead. Male calves have no use to the dairy industry and are slaughtered as babies. No cheese or ice cream is worth that. Be vegan ❤️
Dirty oil and a step backwards for #canada. True nation building would be the ability to refine it here. #dilbit cannot be cleaned up from the ocean and we are selling resources for pennies and then buying them back for dollars. Bad move by the @liberal_party
@helenchestnutsgarden NEVER use glue boards. They cause immense suffering and are indiscriminate. Shame on you for suggesting them . Helen Chesnut's Garden Notes: How to address the explosion of invasive European wall lizards timescolonist.com/homes/hele… via @timescolonist
Hopefully @_BCCOS finds this cretin. Yes, possible public harm but also killing #Wildlife needs to be a much more heavily penalized crime. COS Deer illegally shot and killed near Nanaimo's Buttertubs Marsh: BC Conservation cheknews.ca/deer-illegally-s… ps STOP killing bears!!
