#OnThisDay in 1980, The Sinclair ZX80 personal computer was launched by Sinclair Research Ltd of Cambridge.
It was the first computer (with a Qwerty keyboard) available to the British public that cost less than a hundred pounds! computinghistory.org.uk/cgi-…

Dear @BBCNews,
The following statement regarding flammability of oxygen is completely wrong:
Pure oxygen in cylinders which are commonly found in hospitals - and have been heavily relied on to treat Covid-19 patients - is highly flammable.

This USB-to-Arduino power "adapter" on Thingiverse is either brilliant or terrible. I cannot decide which... what do you think?

I've successfully received 2 packages within 2 days of ordering!
This means that I'm NEVER ordering ANYTHING that is located outside the EU. It's not a Brexit problem. It's not a China problem. It's not an IOSS problem. It's actually a big "EU import" problem. So, get used to it!
A note to @pimoroni and all EUers. Not your fault but, even with IOSS so german VAT was charged on my order, I'm off to the post office to pay customs & EU import duty of nearly £17 on a £75 order. It nullifies all the NEEDABIGGERBOAT discounts.
I NEEDABIGGERWALLET these days 😬
I made some very pretty tiny 2040 rainbows on a couple of @pimoroni 5 x 5 RGB LED matrix breakouts.
🌈😎
The @adafruit @CircuitPython is31fl3731 library needed to be cajoled into believing that RGBMatrix5x5 things exist, and eventually the pixels started to glow! 😊

Am I doing this right?!
A 'tiny' little reconfiguration to make a couple of allegedly incompatible @pimoroni things and @CircuitPython work nicely together. 😉
The freebie REPL console on the explorer display was a very nice surprise! 😎
4 pins left for i2c & 2 analogues

Using a bit of stripboard and a micro USB breakout gives me a way to use one of those lovely bright white LED @pimoroni flotilla matrix modules with the #raspberrypipico explorer ⚓
It turns out that it's not called a @pimoroni Pico HAT Hacker just because it's smol! 😉
#raspberrypipico
And, before anyone asks, the Micro Dot pHAT has actually got 3v3 from the pico on the 5v pin, GND and the two i2c sda and scl pins, and that's it!
The @pimoroni disclaimer:
Please note that Pico HAT Hacker is not compatible with the Raspberry Pi Pico.
Is being a bit too harse. It works to breakout the Pico pins into a HAT layout. Maybe:
Please note that Pico HAT Hacker was not designed for use with the Raspberry Pi Pico.
