It's metal as fuck to foster a community built on compassion and understanding. It's metal as fuck to fight against injustice, both interpersonal & systematic. It is metal as fuck to protect one another and fight for those you cherish. It is metal as fuck to care.

We are elated to share with you a further 10 artists joining us for PtG 2025. Alongside Yob & Kylesa we are welcoming Have A Nice Life back to Toronto & Khanate's first North American reunion performance amongst others. 3 day passes are on sale now!

TLDR: We won't be at supersonic or playing any other shows indefinitely while KW focuses on getting healthy & adjusting to a new normal in regards to his vision. We will still be out & about as people, we just can't safely & confidently play. Love y'all & see ya when we see ya!

This conference is named from a blurb by KW Campol of @vilecreature666 for the Black Metal Rainbows book.
ALT “Black metal is the ultimate outsider musical genre. So it makes sense that us queers and weirdos would build a home within its barren fields. Black Metal Rainbows is a necessary anthology documenting the strong anti-oppressive backbone being woven into black metal’s very fabric.”
KW was interviewed by Metal Injection on his merch calculator & advice for smaller bands whose interaction with merch cuts are out of their control.

YOURE GOD DAMN RIGHT THEY ARE DREAMS COME TRUE
.@OFFICIALKITTIE play Toronto's @HistoryToronto with @vilecreature666 in July 🔥 exclaim.ca/music/article/kit…
The prophecy has been fulfilled. We are Kittie's support for their first show in Toronto in over a decade. This is everything.
Tix onsale Friday, holy fuck.
Merch cuts are a vile part of our industry, but most touring folk don't realize that you don't need to pay the % off the gross prices. Below is the merch cut calculator I use when TMing & a venue is strict about taking my money. Look out for one another.

Thinking about when we played for our largest audience ever & KW had a fractured spine that wouldn't be diagnosed for three more days. It's wild what musicians do to themselves for the sake of sharing their art for, generally, little or no financial gain.

New Friends Fest 2024 lineup: Newfound Interest In Connecticut and We Were Skeletons reunions, rare Saetia and Raein sets, and much more brooklynvegan.com/new-friend…
Can confirm the only tenants our band have ever had are our cats & dog, and they don't pay rent and we still won't evict them.
Never have been a landlord, never heard of us being called a landlord before, never thought this would be something I'd have to say?
Jesus Christ.
We won't be playing a lot in 2024 as we focus on ourselves, other projects, and writing music. We WILL be playing the Saturday of @ptgtoronto , whose single day & weekend passes are available now. Hope to see you there, this was a massive undertaking.

Today is a solid day to check in on friends & remind them how much you value them. Not everyone has a great family infrastructure or chosen family. You never know how much a small word of encouragement can mean to someone struggling in silence.
