Ms. Lauryn Hill — Artist In Residence. This won’t be a “regular concert.” This will be part live performance… part traveling studio… where MLH and her band perform music from her classic catalogue AND for those who have been waiting… — MLH will be performing and revealing unreleased material in real time, for live capture. As she travels through 8 cities across Canada — Ms. Lauryn Hill will also be putting intention into action. A portion of ticket sales will directly support storm relief efforts in Jamaica, and organizations across Canada building impact in education, housing, substance abuse, small business support, athletics, the arts, and mental health. This isn’t just a tour —this is impact, live. If you’re able, please take a moment to look into the organizations below and consider contributing directly to their work. These are the people advancing change on the ground: Bob Marley Foundation @bobmarleyfoundation Cash Relief for Hurricane Melissa Survivors in Jamaica @givedirectly Winnipeg: The Winnipeg Boldness Project @wpgboldness Vancouver: Hogan’s Alley Society @hogans.alley Hamilton: Alternatives for Youth @ayhamiltonont Montreal: DESTA Black Community Network @destabyn Toronto: Visions @visionsofscience Calgary: UMOJA Community Mosaic @umoja_community_mosaic Edmonton: iHuman @ihumanyouthsociety Ottawa: Christ’s Chapel Bible Church
