This month, our Vision Rehabilitation team expanded our Adaptive Living Program (ALP) for older adults (60+), hosting 2 multi-week sessions at Staten Island Giving Circle in Staten Island and at Monroe University in New Rochelle.
Each group was introduced to a variety of vision rehabilitation tools and techniques to aid in independent living and safe travel. We're proud of all our participants for completing these programs, and our Vision Rehabilitation team looks forward to providing added instruction.
We're honored to have brought these sessions to participants and communities that aren't regularly served, and we appreciate both Staten Island Giving Circle and Monroe University for lending us their spaces to make these sessions possible. #SeeWhatIsPossible #AdaptiveLiving
