Strengthening emergency and palliative care in Navelim. Visited PHC Navelim today and interacted with the staff, patients and their families. From tomorrow, a 24x7 Emergency Care Centre will be operational at the PHC, supported by additional staff nurses and a doctor. 4 new ambulances were launched today, 1 will be provided under the State Care initiative, 1 stationed at PHC Navelim, along with 1 dedicated ambulance each for Cavelossim village and Sanguem. For palliative care patients, we have also provided additional medicines, Fowler beds, oxygen concentrators and an additional physiotherapist.
