Diwali in Bangalore feels lonely to me.
I’ve made a life here, and I still feel that pinch every Diwali away from home. Among so many things, the most I miss is the feeling of togetherness
If you’re in Bangalore this Diwali and feeling a little of that too, come play with us at 11Point Club.
For the next three days, you can join us for any game for free - pickleball, badminton, paddle (Absolutely no charge). Come on your own or bring a friend. Come even if you’ve never picked up a paddle or a racket. We’ll find you someone to play with.
Sometimes an hour of running around, laughing at a missed shot, and being around other people is enough to make the day feel a little less lonely.

When will get this right
To err is human.

To get the ai to pull the contract and get forgiveness, is human.

Wisprflow might just end up being the most asset rich company of all time. They have access to what prompts I use with which model. They are possibly the only one that can actually take a shot at the blackbox called AEO - because they have the actual prompts that people use.
What's more audacious than a PR firm pitching a fiction book author as a guest on the pod? The author reaching out themselves. These folks either need more AI or just no Ai so that they can let people be. There is no middle ground here.

Some of the analogies used here by Anand are spot on. I remember @dilipti covered this from the other angle - controlling the power of the llm, and guiding it, is much like using gasoline. Burn it and it explodes. Put it into a carefully crafted engine and it carries us from point a to b.

Guys it’s a misconception that Jev can’t hallucinate
It’s a non-generative LM ie it models probabilities of things given language as context
The guarantee is the type-safety, and that answers are deterministic - ie no stochastic sampling. The deterministic answers can still be confidently wrong!
It can still hallucinate if the training data on the topic was under cooked
