Israel flattened Beirut in 1982. No Hamas. No Hezbollah. No October 7 to point to then. Just 17,000 dead Lebanese and Palestinian civilians. Even US president then Ronald Reagan, who armed Israel, called Begin furious after seeing a photo of a 7-month-old baby with its arms blown off and said “It is a holocaust”. They killed so many innocent people that the survivors had no choice but to pick up weapons. Then Israel had the audacity to keep using “Self-Defense” excuse every decade. Israel didn’t stumble into endless war. Israel built it. Brick by brick. Own it.

I enlisted to serve my country. They called Muslims “sand n**gers”, “Hajis” and “Joe sh*t the ragman”. They told us “we gotta fight them over there or we will have to fight them over here”, “they don’t value human life like we do”, and “they hate us because we are free”. These were all lies. Dehumanizing propaganda designed to make it more palatable for the public to have our troops kill people by the thousands. I saw my fellow service members die and maimed and kill innocents for these lies. I saw friends lose part of their soul when they took lives. I saw people haunted by screams. I saw veterans kill themselves over the anguish of what they had seen and done. 22 veteran suicides a day for decades. I saw our country’s international reputation destroyed and a trillion dollars wasted for these lies. I’m still angry about it all these years later. This is why I have no tolerance for the same lies being pushed by the same people for another iteration of the same stupidity. These wars of aggression do not serve our country. I am anti war to the core. You will never change me on this.

🔴NEW: Israel is ramping up Islamophobia in the U.S and it’s part of their plane, they literally paid for it according to a document obtained by Ryan Grim. They do so to manipulate Americans to hate Muslims so that the American government will have an easier time letting Israel murder Palestinians.

If Israel wanted peace, it wouldn’t bomb hospitals. If America wanted dialogue, it wouldn’t veto ceasefires. These aren’t accidents. They’re strategies. You don’t flatten refugee camps by mistake. You don’t bomb aid convoys out of confusion. And you don’t veto peace—again and again—unless you’ve already chosen war. Israel speaks the language of "security," but practices the grammar of annihilation. America claims neutrality, but funds the bullets, shields the bombs, and buries diplomacy under piles of vetoes. This isn’t self-defense. It’s the performance of impunity. Every hospital leveled. Every ceasefire blocked. Every child’s name lost under rubble. These are not failures. They are declarations. Declarations of intent. Of hierarchy. Of who gets to live. And who must die in silence. But the silence is ending. You don’t get to murder and moralize in the same breath. Not anymore. Because the world sees it now. And that sound you hear? It’s not silence. It’s the sound of your excuses collapsing.

WATCH: @chrislhayes honors Shaban Al Dalu, a Palestinian teen who burned to death after an Israeli strike. "That young man should have celebrated his 20th birthday today. Instead, the world became a witness to his violent death in a video depicting the endless horrors in Gaza—horrors that whether we like it or not, our government and our weapons are facilitating day after day until something changes."

Wow. These are powerful words and the Zionists can’t question or refute his claims unless they want to be labeled as holocaust survivor-hating anti-semites.

A released Palestinian prisoner says in Arabic that Israel held them in the cold w/o electricity, "sprayed us w/ pepper spray" & "left us to die." She never mentioned Hamas or a word like it. Yet @BBC translated to: "No one helped us. Only Hamas cared...We love them very much."

If you are endorsing Israel's Gaza assault by declaring that Israel "has the right to defend itself", then you're also endorsing the Oct. 7th attack. If Israel can slaughter civilians in the name of "defending itself", then Palestinians can too. They were ethnically cleansed in 1948 and have been occupied since 1967. Israel has refused to end the occupation and rejected the only diplomatic solution with international -- including PLO, Hamas and Arab states - support: an Israeli withdrawal from the West Bank and Gaza, and creation of a Palestinian state there. (A huge compromise for Palestinians in 22% of their ancestral land). On Oct. 6th, Israeli forces and settlers had already killed 200 Palestinians this year alone (adding to a toll of tens of thousands since 1948). Occupied people have the right to resist military occupation. Israel had the right to defend itself on Oct. 7th as Palestinian militants attacked it. But it's not Oct. 7th anymore. It's more than one month later, and Israel has killed thousands of Palestinian civilians, including 4,650+ children. Israel has no right to commit mass murder in the territory it's illegally occupying. Occupiers don't have the right to defend their occupation; they only have the obligation to end it. Which also happens to be the best way that Israel could defend its long-term security, along with everybody else's -- who have just as much of a right to security and self-defense.
