I made something like that about a year ago. That Wikipedia still doesn't seem to be investing institutionally in this sort of tool or integrating it into the platform is kind of crazy really. In any case, the (much) harder problem is judging the citations that are left off.

Reports of the death of cancel culture have been much exaggerated.

I have been disinvited from this event by the organisers for my positions on sex, gender and prostitution so will unfortunately not be participating. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m sure it will still be worthwhile nevertheless.

Real videos on youtube now seem to have so much AI postprocessing that they look AI generated.

Changing my email sig to: I sent this email and I know what I must do. I behave in the manner expected of me. I can be depended upon and am beyond reproach. I am obedient and therefore I have the right to be left in peace.

Today I've been writing a really sad chapter that made me cry several times, but every time I cried I pulled myself together and went back in to make sure it's exactly as sad as I need it to be, so I suppose Graham Greene had a point about the splinter of ice.

Having long been aware of those tech bros who read my work as utopian porn, where they’ve taken that doesn’t exactly surprise me.

Looking forward to unions putting the case that your sexual orientation is dependent on someone else's paperwork. You absolute numpties.

A clear message from our Chair: "Just because something is the law, does not mean it is right. Laws can be wrong. Section 28 was the law, and it was wrong. And you know what the Labour government did? It changed the law. It can be done. It must be done."

Leaving aside the arguments over the reasons why this has happened, it is shocking that Europe does not have a single frontier AI lab, nor even a near-frontier lab nor even an effort that could likely lead to building up a frontier lab in the future.

Off to the Labour Conference in Liverpool where people will be shouting, chanting and waving banners outside the venue where I’ll be a speaker because a women’s conference doesn’t include men. Astonishing, truly.
