I like privacy. But I don't believe in privacy on-chain. It's mostly used to hide rug traces and wash dirty wallets.

보안 쪽은 감사 원문과 verified build가 생긴 점은 분명히 전보다 낫습니다.
반대로 공식 bug bounty, security disclosure 절차, multisig signer, upgrade authority는 확인하지 못했습니다.
사이트는 immutable·no admin이라고 주장하지만 explorer 수준의 권한 검증이 더 필요합니다.
유의점은 privacy가 zk만으로 완성되지 않는다는 점입니다.
공식 문서도 작은 anonymity set, 너무 빠른 출금, wallet·relayer 재사용, IP·RPC·browser metadata가 연결 단서가 될 수 있다고 경고합니다.
Private note를 잃으면 출금할 수 없고, 유출되면 자금 탈취나 deanonymization 위험이 있습니다.
비교 대상으로는 Solana의 Privacy Cash가 있습니다.
다만 동일 기준의 TVL, 실제 이용량, anonymity set과 relayer 분산도를 확보하지 못해 어느 쪽이 우위라고 말하기는 어렵습니다.
파구의 변
감사와 reproducible build는 꽤 중요한 진전입니다.
그래도 privacy protocol은 코드가 돌아간다는 것과 실제로 숨겨진다는 것이 다른 문제입니다.
다음에 볼 것은 딱 세 가지입니다.
감사 commit과 현재 배포 binary가 같은지,
pool별 anonymity set이 실제로 충분한지,
relayer가 몇 곳에 집중돼 있는지입니다.

#Solana needs a privacy protocol built on the exact same level of uncompromising standards, security, and decentralization as @TornadoCash
Any protocol that relies even slightly on one or a few individuals, somehow restricts access, hasn't survived a stress test of massive short term demand, lacks a full audit, or isn't open source will never be what Web3 technology is supposed to be.
Tornado Cash and @monero meet these criteria, and the sanctions levied against them are proof of it, their true mark of quality is that no one was actually able to block or shut them down.
Everyone knows, even if few will say it out loud, that #Web3 desperately needs these tools to be even a shadow of what this movement originally set out to achieve.
There will be many who pretend they’ve already accomplished this just to get everyday users to trust them whether out of greed, a desire to retain the power to freeze funds, or the intent to hand over user data to law enforcement and authorities.
Now more than ever, we need warriors and leading voices who will return to the core values we started this game with people who have no intention of compromising in the name of falsely presented "transparency."
The fundamental human right to #privacy is inalienable and non-negotiable, regardless of who you are or what you do.
I place great hope in @VoidifyPrivacy community takeover project (exactly like #tornadocash ) which, to meet all the requirements I’ve mentioned, only lacks full DAO governance to deliver to @solana what it truly deserves, especially as the chain with the largest concentration of individual retail investors.
