As I mentioned in a previous post, it's hard to figure out where to mint/list new work these days. I picked these three partners by focusing on the people. I believe the human connections we make here in the community will survive any platform and those same people are also what helps distinguish one platform from another.
With that in mind, I want to highlight the key people I’m working with on each platform to show thanks and to give visibility to the people that make each of these platforms great.

I first met Daniel when he was still in high school at the first NFT NYC on the rooftop of the SuperRare party. He was already an experienced JPEG trader and seemed like a bright kid. He is now at Transient Labs doing great work supporting artists. I wanted to shine a bit of light on Daniel who is working behind the scenes to help me promote this collection.

My good friend @kayvan2sfo had mentioned the Concierge service at Makersplace and so I asked him about it. He connected me to Kat and he had very high praise for her. I was immediately impressed by her on our video call and more importantly on the follow up afterwards. Kat is helping me with the private sales for this collection and has already moved a couple pieces.

Paloma is very well known and respected for her curation work at SuperRare. I’ve been lucky enough to get to know her over the past few years and I even invited her to curate a Circle of Frens edition. She is working with me to help promote this collection and it is always a pleasure to work with her.

Come to have food and drinks and meet artists in-person to learn about their art and buy on the spot using QR codes.
The Group exhibition features 30 artists with a connection to the SF Bay Area and showcases everything from large format paintings and sculptures (w 14 ft x h 9 ft) to digital multimedia works that leverage AI, 3D, generative code, and music.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
I believe hybrid models derived and inspired by what works in more established markets can be powerful.
An example is using pop-up exhibitions/showcases to generate awareness (think conferences, art festivals, Art Basel, etc.) in combination with more permanent spaces to generate awareness (Galleries / Artist Studios) to provide the time and space required to build relationships between artists and collectors that lead to collecting/sales.
For both pop-up and more permanent spaces, depending on the amount of space, having deeper showcases / solo show areas for 1-5 artists and then a broader group exhibition of 5-10+ artists may be the ideal. In this way, it is possible to go deep with artists who have a larger body of work and also bring exposure to up and coming artists who can be considered for a deeper show when they have a larger body of work to showcase in the future.
This longer-form hybrid approach of coordinated pop-up + permanent space is the model we are experimenting with at the @voidmetaspace and so far it seems to be well received.
We will know more after we close out our current exhibition but this hybrid model seems to work in the trad art world, so it stands to reason that building off of this w/ our own creative touch and innovations can maybe work as well.
We are still early stages but the best way to learn is to try. Look forward to collaborating more in the future!
