Taking a day off just to rot in bed and watch movies all day because I haven't had a proper lazy day in AGES and I DESERVE to take a break from being productive for once. And the universe really said "say less" and made it rain... couldn't have asked for better timing.

...... Kayanya karena semalam nonton La Bola Negra, jadi kabawa mimpi ikut perjuangan kaum kiri, terus aku mati terbunuh dengan tembakan tepat di dada kiri. Tembakannya bener² terasa nyata, aku sampe langsung bangun saking kagetnya.. 💀

Tapi jadinya capek banget, berasa nggak tidur. Mau lanjut tidur pun nggak bisa, aku sekalinya bangun nggak bisa tidur lagi. Just hoping I can survive today because work is already piling up.

Just watched La Bola Negra and I'm completely blown away. This movie feels deeply personal and also historically significant because it's a deeply moving and profoundly important work of queer cinema, as well as a beautiful tribute to Lorca and his literary legacy.

Oh ya I'd also recommend untuk tau dulu ttg sejarah perang saudara Spanyol kalau mau lebih paham soal historical contextnya. How fascist ideology reinforced conservative social norms, persecuted political dissidents, and marginalized queer people adds another layer of meaning—

to the movie's exploration of identity, repression, and historical erasure.
