i think we'll look back at claude opus 5.5 as the moment anyone who's ever wanted to become a vlogger, make internet videos, or build a video marketing machine could do it without a team or editing skills millions of people who would've sat on the sidelines will now be making videos over the next 24 months

A few thoughts on agentic video editing after 3M longform YouTube views, edited using agents: 1. Agentically edited content has a "look": it's heavy on motion graphics (since they are easy to make with code), lots of text, heavily animated. To stand out, we've been spending lots of time making our system do things that make it not look like that (custom shaders, imperfection added on purpose, ..) 1. In 1 year 90% of videos will be edited fully agentically, the remaining will use agentic bits with some human editing to polish 2. Making one video is easy, building a system and process that scales to multiple ones is much harder. We built a harness for claude that analyzes script, creates storyboards in Paper to iterate on and animates dozens of animations per video at scale, with human feedback on Flask. 3. One person with their agent is easy. As soon as you have a team, it gets 10x harder because you need to share code. GitHub is too complex and not built for this. We use Flask .do (frame io for agents) to store video, code and context into each version so everyone can just pull from there 4. MCPs for traditional tools like DaVinci, After Effects are slow and token intensive and in most cases are not worth it. Headless is the future, the hard part remains the tweaking and that's still unsolved

Pro tip for folks working with Apple documentation: add ".md" to the end of a URL to get it as Markdown – much lighter to load, and also friendlier for agents. Example: developer.apple.com/document…

Fastest way to kill ur biz? Perfectionism. 2 months ago I tried to record a VSL like a movie. Lighting, “pro” camera, ordered a mic, waited 2 days… All it produced was delay. Today: opened Loom, one shot, shipped. Done today beats perfect next week. SPEED WINS 🏆

Respect to the ones building alone: You’re coding, marketing, learning, failing, repeating. Carrying a vision in your head before it exists in reality. Stay consistent. Stay patient. It’s only a matter of time before your product hits.

If a founder gives you the “I will never give up” vibe, invest in them immediately.

I don't care about "intelligence" benchmarks now. I'm post-eval. GPT-5 does what you tell it to do. No other model behaves this well. Trust me. Don't judge until you try it in your editor. Give it tools. Give it instructions. Watch it cook.

What’s so beautiful about entrepreneurship is that anyone who truly tries will be successful. Why most people fail is just because they give up too early. They have 1 or 2 failures and then they kick in the bucket and get a 9-5. Entrepreneurship comes down to grit. If you’re willing to get punched in the face every day; one day it will work. Even though I’m only 18, I’ve tried starting 50 businesses over the last 10 years. Only 2 were successful. And that’s all people look at. Some people will see this and take action, others will stay comfortable. But never let the belief that you aren’t smart enough hold you back; it’s irrelevant.
