✅ We will use the cleaned up version of the DeFi WASM build to create a real world simulation of the matching engine (similar to what we have on the website, just with real order book data from the testnet) such that people will understand how the next block will match orders.

To do the thing in previous post Shifu had to adapt the source code structure such that the relevant part of the code can work as standalone in this new repository. Which means that essential work is going on behind the scenes even though it is not immediately apparent. ⚠️

More explanation : Shifu has added the code from the new repo also to the core repo because it is very interconnected with the core repository code. In fact, this Fair Batch Matching repository has C++ source which is directly copied over from the core repository now.

We normalized the name of the matching engine to "Fair Batch Matching (FBM)" and from "Sandwich-free/Sandwich-proof/MEV-proof" to only say "MEV-proof" to have the terms locked in in a canonical way to help build proper structured branding. 🎲 ♟

All in all it is a very much cleaned up and professionalized upgrade and on top this is packed as a new repo as part the official Warthog GitHub organization. 👍 As you can see we are actively working on Warthog to make it better. Shifu, dev

There is also a zipped demonstration on how to call these WASM methods from javascript. ✌ We now have native javascript types that are now passed using `emscripten::val` instead of previous intermediate JSON representation which had to be serialized and parsed again.

Granted, we already have the website demo, which is based on the same WASM build but now we have an automated CI/CD build on GitHub version and with [release page](github.com/warthog-network/f…) to download the precompiled build artifacts (`fbm.js` and `fbm.wasm`).

The new repository is a cleaned up version of my previous personal repository and now contains a standalone C++23 project to compile to WASM which allows calling the matching algorithm from Javascript within websites.
