Bitcoin has established itself as a global store of value. The financial infrastructure around it is still catching up.
Efficient capital markets need transparent rates, defined risk and a reliable yield curve.
Nexio is building toward that future.

DeFi lending works. But it treats every borrower the same. A top market maker with a perfect track record posts the same collateral and gets the same rate as everyone else.
That's the tradeoff you make for permissionless infrastructure. Not every institution wants to make it.

Absolutely incredible.
@coinbase is so back as the everything exchange for investors.

Bitcoin shouldn't just sit there.
That's the whole idea behind Nexio. Fixed-rate, fixed-term BTC credit between institutions. Lenders set their terms and earn a real coupon on capital that usually sits idle.
We're bringing on our first lenders now. Family offices, corporate treasuries, and BTC holders who want priority terms and a hand in shaping the early book.
If that's you, our DMs are open.

Credit markets. Proper borrowers. Fixed rates. Real yield from real economic activity.
That's what we're building.

The institutional Bitcoin credit market has a structural gap.
Crypto CeFi lenders collapsed. DeFi doesn't differentiate credit.
Here's the problem and what's missing 🧵

People ask why Bitcoin credit infrastructure is getting built now and not five years ago.
Because five years ago, everyone thought the old way worked. Pool deposits together, lend them out behind closed doors, and hope for the best. 2022 showed how that ends.
But the demand never went away. Institutions still need yield. $117B+ in BTC treasuries still need options. The borrowers are still there.
What was missing was infrastructure built the right way from the start. Transparent, isolated, enforceable. That's the gap.

Fixed-income for Bitcoin. Not variable. Not algorithmic. Not "up to X%."
Fixed rate, fixed term, known borrower.

In traditional markets, the yield curve is foundational. It prices time, anchors risk, and becomes the reference point for everything else.
Bitcoin doesn’t have that yet.
Without it, capital allocation stays fragmented, and return expectations stay inconsistent.
Once that changes, the entire market starts to behave differently.

In any other asset class, $100B sitting idle would be unacceptable. Why does Bitcoin get a pass?
Not for long.

Before standardized ratings and transparent pricing, bond markets were a mess. Insider deals, opaque terms, inconsistent risk assessment.
Bitcoin credit markets are at that exact same stage.
The infrastructure that brings structure and transparency will unlock trillions.

DeFi's biggest strength is also its biggest weakness for institutions.
Full transparency? Great.
Permissionless access? Great.
Treating a public company with $5B in assets the same as an anonymous wallet with $5K?
That's broken underwriting.

Remember when people said "institutions will never hold Bitcoin?"
Now: 60+ public companies hold BTC on their balance sheets.
Next phase: "Institutions will never use Bitcoin as productive capital."
Watch.

Bitcoin is entering its productivity era.
For years, the narrative was simple: store of value, digital gold, hodl forever.
That's still true. But there's a new layer forming on top that most people are missing.🧵👇
