It's a fairly straightforward principle: if you're a white supremacist or sexually abuse others or kidnap children and lock them in cages or enable genocide or attack the rights of women and LGBTQ people, you don't get the benefit of public "civility".

NEW ACLU says the Trump admin separated far more "tender age" kids than it disclosed.
We know ~100 kids < age 5 were separated last year.
Now we know 207 more kids < 5 were also separated, not counting 101 five-year-olds.
