I believe he had a Submariner, GMT and Gold Day Date, the first two probably $150-250, Gold Day Date maybe $1,200?
Castro routinely wore multiple watches, sometimes on the same wrist. Collector lore says he set the watches to Havana, Moscow, and Washington, D.C.’s time zones (the third utilizing the GMT function). Whether he wore them for status or for function is still debated.
