You can’t really argue this. They believe in investing in the people and infrastructure.

The police fired rubber bullets at Australian reporter Lauren Tomasi while she was reporting live from Los Angeles today.
Appalling and unjustified.

Gov. Mills stood up to a tyrant and won: “A few months ago, I stood in the White House and when confronted by the president of the United States, I told him I’d see him in court. Well, I did see him in court and we won”

Elon Musk paid $250 million to help Trump win the swing states, then he went to Washington and signed a goverment contract worth twice that amount, and then he dismantled every single agency that was investigating his companies.

The birthday parade Trump is throwing himself will cost taxpayers $92 million
Explain how cutting news & kids programming to fund an authoritarian birthday bash makes America great?

President Trump,
I’ve seen men bleed out in the Ardennes for a flag you’re not fit to hold, let alone wrap yourself in. You think bluster is bravery, but I’ve led men through hell—and you couldn’t march through rain without whining about your hair.
You dodge the draft, praise dictators, and call that strength? Hell, I’ve stared down Rommel’s panzers and pissed in the Rhine. You, on the other hand, ran from bone spurs and hide behind Twitter like a pampered child playing general.
You talk about purging patriots and locking up dissenters like that’s power. That’s not power—it’s cowardice wrapped in a cheap suit and a bad tie.
I fought Nazis. You invite them. I liberated camps. You threaten to build new ones. I defended democracy with a .45 and a tank. You disgrace it with a pen and a podium.
So let me make this crystal clear, sunshine: if you had stood before me in ’44 spouting this treasonous filth, I’d have court-martialed you so fast your gold toilet would’ve flushed itself.
You are a disgrace to the presidency and to this Republic. And if you keep marching this country toward dictatorship, don’t expect history to salute you. It’ll spit.

There is nothing clever or funny about this image, Mr. President. We just buried our beloved Pope Francis and the cardinals are about to enter a solemn conclave to elect a new successor of St. Peter. Do not mock us.

People cheering funding cuts to NPR & PBS have never listened to it. NPR is one of the most neutral news orgs there is. It has the trait of every good news organization: it's BORING. If you're feeling strong emotions watching "the news," it's because it's entertainment, not news.

I dare a MAGA supporter to find me a gas station under 2 bucks a gallon.
Proof with a dated receipt, please.

To all my fellow American raised and practicing Catholics, are you cool with this? Is this just funny stuff that everyone is laughing at? I follow a lot of Catholic priests in this platform. I wonder if there will be any response at all to this.

Most IT jobs, today, are utterly meaningless. They are painful to do. Especially if you know just how meaningless it all is.
Most companies should not exist. Their entire IT infrastructure should not exist. And most of our data centers are full of financial nonsense. To extract money.
Most IT today only serves to maintain capitalism.
And it's painful to maintain it. It's painful to do IT consulting for insurances or "finance". It's painful to develop tax accounting software. It's painful to work for a mobile phone ingame marketing API company. It's painful to work in digital marketing. It's painful to work for a 25-fold redundant mobile phone provider. It's painful to maintain the databases of "fintech".
It's painful to take care of nonsense. Nonsense that is in the process of completely overheating our planet.
Most IT jobs today are #bullshitjobs.
We can not continue to allow capitalism to employ everyone for no reason. Work needs to be meaningful and economically relevant. But >90% of our jobs only exist to maintain a silly system that forces us into poverty and to fight over money.
