I think it would be incredibly rude to duck out of @phptek early. I hear the closing keynote is great.
I’m the closing keynote. Please don’t leave early.

I've made some great progress on a version of Valet that also works on Linux, but I'm currently stuck on Dnsmasq.
I took a look at Valet-Linux's Dnsmasq config (github.com/cpriego/valet-lin…) but it's *VERY* different from the Mac config.
Any Linux Dnsmasq experts able to help me?

Asking for a friend,
Is there some kind of PHP library for writing SQL with 'placeholders' like using PDO prepared statements, but without server-side cost?
I'd just like to understand what options are available for writing simple to read, safe queries .

The episode will be out next week.

Is there a name for the fallacy that because someone has done something successful before they will be successful in future ventures?
Probably obvious who I’m talking about here but I’m legitimately curious: is this a known/named concept?

I had a neat #PHPStorm experience I didn't know before. Pressing ctrl and click on a "continue;" will set the cursor to the loop it refers to. After that I tried "continue 1;", "continue 2;" etc. and it behaved as expected.
