Proof of reserves used to mean a Merkle tree snapshot, an auditor's PDF and a lot of hoping. FTX showed everyone why that isn't enough.
The obvious fix is full transparency, but no serious fund will publish its bank balances, custody accounts and exchange positions to the whole internet. So you end up with a strange requirement: keep the data private, make the claim provable.
This is the part @primus_labs solves with zkTLS. It pulls data straight from the source over a normal TLS session (a bank portal, an exchange API, a custodian) and produces a proof that the number is real, without exposing the raw data or the login behind it. The issuer keeps its credentials, the public gets a verifiable result.
The screenshot is the live Unitas PoR dashboard, with onchain and offchain reserves checked in one place.
For me this is the real bar for institutions. Not "trust us", not "show everything", just prove what matters.

Imagine depositing into a vault before its points program even exists, then finding out you need to withdraw and deposit again just to qualify for the new rewards.
Thankfully, @atoma_fi isn't making its early users do that.
Atoma Convergence has started with Chapter I: Formation, introducing Atoma Points and a Genesis Boost that adds 25% to 100% extra points on eligible vault deposits.
Anyone already holding a deposit is included automatically. New deposits need to be made by November 13 at 15:00 UTC.
The final boost depends on the protocol's total TVL at that snapshot, so the multiplier isn't fixed yet. Once determined, it applies through December 8.
One detail is easy to miss: Atoma Points, points earned from Perp DEXs, and the vault's actual trading results in USDC are three separate things. The boost only increases Atoma Points, not the trading return.
I appreciate that existing users aren't being pushed into unnecessary transactions just to participate.
Of course, extra points don't remove the risks of depositing into a trading vault. I'd still look at the strategy and withdrawal conditions before committing USDC.
