I’ve written about the mega-weirdness of a Mail journalist making Meghan’s dad her “father figure”, and the mega-predictability of police incompetence where grim matters connected to the royal family are concerned marinahyde.com/p/somehow-the…

India is one of the world's fastest-growing markets. On his first day in the country, First Minister @JohnSwinney has launched a six-month programme to help Scotland's food and drink businesses grow exports and reach new customers across India.

They said I shouldn't bother going to the Upper Peninsula. That it's Trump country, can't be won. Well, Escanaba would like a word!

When JFK ran, they said the country would never elect a Catholic president. When Obama ran, they said the country would never elect a Black president. Michiganders care a lot less about how I pray than what I pray for: peace, dignity, basic goodness for all of our kids.

Independence isn't about turning our backs on our neighbours. It's about Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland working together as friends, partners and equals, each with the power to shape their own future. #SNP26

Well this is interesting! Yesterday afternoon GB News had the Lola Salem story; then deleted it. Then at 5pm the Mail ran it- by this morning it was GONE from their site too. I wonder if the editor of the Spectator, Michael Gove, knows what’s going on? 🤔
Michael Gove’s ex girlfriend Lola Salem has been charged with possession of child abuse images. Evidently this came to light in JUNE & she was suspended by Oriel College, Oxford. But she and Gove have only just separated. Did he know the press were onto it?

The Holyrood establishment was so scared that they voted to close down my debate on face coverings. John Swinney had to leave his gin and tonic to rush into the chamber to vote. Scottish democracy officially died tonight.

So, let me get this right, 10 years after a referendum on Brexit, the PM is saying we can reverse it and rejoin... possibly, but 12 years after Indyref people are denied the option to change their minds? Scotland MUST have the 'RIGHT TO DECIDE!'

Worth reminding people that the Scottish Govt's National Care Service bill was effectively sabotaged by trade unions, Unionist led councils and political parties. The care sector was still supportive of the bill in principle as was made clear in interviews.

"On the day my dad died, John Swinney said I would be the last PM of the United Kingdom. I don't say that to criticise John Swinney, he didn't know at the time" Incredibly cynical, manipulative and self-serving to even contrast the two then frankly #burnham

Michael Marra and Douglas Alexander were apparently both crying, cheering and punching the air when Andy Burnham used the death of his father to stir up emotion when defending the Union. This sounds truly nauseating. We don't think we've ever heard anything like this before.
