And not just @Corkcoco, @corkcitycouncil and other councils across Ireland. Access to darkness is essential for our well-being and that of many creatures, including night-time pollinators. Read @DaniDarkSkies book “All Through The Night”. Contact @darkskyireland for info too.
Any chance that Cork Co Council could work with @darkskyireland, local businesses + GAA clubs to reduce light pollution in West Cork @DeclanHurley @karencoakleycc @DeirdreKellyFF? No stars visible passing Mastercabin, Innishannon; GP Wood, Enniskeane and Carbery Group, Ballineen.

We have heard so many great things about @wildworkers, we are really looking forward to this presentation! Minister @noonan_malcolm said he will try to pop in at some stage, so it would be great if he could hear how Local Development Companies are supporting climate action!💪

1. Struggling with identification of bees/pollinators and various other tricky insects groups? It has been my life's mission to make things easier, so check out this chain. Firstly, Steven Falk Flickr: flickr.com/photos/63075200@N…. It's a virtual museum and field adventure.

2. That Flickr site has images that zoom larger if you keep clicking them, and drop-down species accounts. In many cases these are the only decent species accounts (or images) you can find for some insect species. I've also added hyperlinks to @NBNAtlas maps, key papers etc.😇👍
