The Wife Test...
@mikeHudsonisonX rented a Model 3 for two days.
Then Mike's3 wife drove it - "how can I ever go back to driving a normal car?"
For me, it came when my wife tried FSD for the first time. Now I can't get my car back lol.

Last year I fulfilled a five-year dream - saving up and buying a new Tesla.
I said to the Tesla guys I was coming in, buying one and taking it, and I wasn't test driving. They looked at me like I was nuts.
I knew I'd like driving it because I'd been watching video after video.
Now I'm driving FSD here in New Zealand, and for the most part I'm really enjoying it. – at New Zealand
We jumped straight from FSD 14.3.5 to 14.3.12 here in New Zealand.
From crawling, to running, to sprinting... to some version of a flying car (metaphorically).

FSD v14.3.12 (down under) has arrived in New Zealand.
We've jumped straight from 14.3.5 to 14.3.12 here in New Zealand, so I took it for a spin on my way to a meeting.
To be honest, I'm not sure FSD was created for rural roads but it did well. Felt smoother that was until it wanted to drive straight through a roundabout without stopping lol.
Better at reading speed signs (kind of), Mad Max tested on rural roads (weird), and it parked itself outside the café (after I intervened the first time).
Quite impressed (overall).
PS. This video was edited by Claude. Bloody hell, we live inside the machine now...
First go, FSD v14.3.12 Down Under tried a spot that was not a park. I took over.
Second go, it reversed straight in.
Quite impressed, actually. – at New Zealand

FSD v14.3.12 DU rolling in hot to New Zealand.
Looking forward to getting my max and mad on 😂
Honestly, feels like a grown up version of Christmas as a kid - but I pay for my own gift.
Good shit Tesla.
Something’s going on as we load up down under for FSD v14.3.9…
Currently on v14.3.5 here in New Zealand. To be fair, it’s been stable - until today.
MASSIVE brake stabbing. 30 km/h to 0 km/h in what felt like 1 second.
Bring on .9, I say - or .10 would be better.
Onwards 👍
FSD v14.3.5 Down Under just doing its job - keeping life, living.
It did the maths, slowed down only as much as it needed to, and the bugs went on crossing the road.
Great stuff. Onwards.
I mean, I wouldn’t do it like this, but I’m not the one driving.
Your thoughts? I’m assuming FSD is measuring everything, and in its mind, there was heaps of room.
For me, it’s a little tight, but I’m still here, so maybe I should just shut up and get driven around 😂
