Reminds me of when Michigan threatened to go independent last fall, after they + USC blocked the Big Ten’s attempt at a $2.4 billion private equity deal. It’s interesting the CFB landscape is starting to show more signs that this direction is becoming more possible. There are brands out there that could fair better on their own solo TV deals than what they get splitting with conference members.
