Ron DeSantis, continuing his post-midterms "I Told You So" tour, says there needs to be a "big change" in "conservative media culture" -- because so much that is just a "grift," and/or "pay-to-play" scam-artistry stuff. Please note: This is obviously an implicit critique of "MAGA Media Inc.," and therefore "Trump," since to the degree there's been any GOP media "grifting" in recent years -- which according to DeSantis has contaminated the right-wing information landscape -- it's all been overwhelmingly centered around the personage of one man: Our Favorite President. DeSantis actually briefly started to complain about this phenomenon at the tail-end of the 2024 Republican primaries, right before he got knocked out in Iowa.

You mean you can actually reduce spending and debt?
🚨 WOW! Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis just dropped this truth nuke: "You take all the debt Florida's accumulated in its history, I've paid off 54% of it just in my tenure as governor!"

"We've reduced our budget 4 YEARS in a row! Inflation has been happening, population's been growing, our budget's LESS *TODAY* than it was four years ago" "The size of government in Florida is SMALLER today than the day I took office." "We have the smallest government per capita of any state in the United States." "And what has that led to? More economic growth than any state this decade during my tenure as governor." Florida is CRUSHING IT and thankfully held the line on Tuesday ☀️ Sadly, Texas is about to go the opposite direction. They voted blue, and they will slowly begin looking more like California unless things change there, FAST

Governor DeSantis says the Trump Administration will be completely paralyzed for two years and will not be able to get any confirmations through. He also says the Dems have such a huge majority that they can ignore the DSA members if they want.

Amendment 3 results re: first step for property tax elimination. Only 3 counties — Gadsden, Leon and Alachua (three most liberal counties) — had a majority vote against it. Rural counties where opponents were trying to scare people against it voted overwhelmingly in favor. 66% in Miami-Dade voted in favor, and large counties including Hillsborough, Palm Beach and Lee all hit 60% or more. Big win for taxpayers!

I moved to FL because of you. You are part of the reason I am a Republican. In a sea of liars and do nothing political theater activists. You actually governed, you actually did the job you wanted and were elected to do. It was something I’ve never seen my entire life.

Existing cybertrucks will appreciate in value now. Will end up being a collectors item.
Tesla will be winding down production of the Cybertruck at Gigafactory Texas around the middle of next year to make room for increased Cybercab production

I agree. It was a bad cycle for Republicans and Amendment 3 helped get our voters to come out.
Replying to @RonDeSantis
I served as a poll worker, and in my precinct more than 90% of people arrived asking where they could find Amendment 3. People went out to vote specifically for that.

This is awesome.
Republicans got decimated Tuesday but there is a silver lining. This will lead to disruption for the Consultants Class. Political consultants “fail upwards” and it’s disgusting. But AI changes that. We sent AI agents to gather the top-paid consultants and their records for Florida and Texas. In Texas, the top 15 consultants were paid 297 MILLION DOLLARS. Their record? 49 wins, 65 losses. A 43% win rate! This changes now. I will be holding some accountable and going to their donors. Your money deserves better @elonmusk

Ron DeSantis was right about Susie Wiles. It’s amazing how often he is eventually proven correct.
Today is my last day as White House Chief of Staff.   Serving President Trump in the White House has been the honor of a lifetime. I’m so proud to have been a part of what we’ve accomplished together from securing our border and cutting taxes to strengthening our economy and putting America First. More than anything, I’m grateful for the extraordinary people I’ve had the privilege of working alongside. While my role may be changing, my commitment to the President and the mission never will.

You don't get the quality of @JamesUthmeierFL without rebuilding a movement of high human capital mission-oriented fighters like @RonDeSantis
🚨 JUST IN: Newly-elected Florida AG James Uthmeier announces he's launching a LINE OF DEFENSE against Democrat lawfare after they won elections nationwide "We're gonna stand here in Florida, WE will be the line of defense and PROTECT our citizens." "We're gonna stand as a leader for the conservative legal movement to ensure that radical leftist policies that want to violate our most protected, deeply-held beliefs — they're not gonna work down here!" ☀️ Thank GOD Florida barely held the line. We survived the worst case scenario of all scenarios! Just BARELY ‼️ Florida is going all in on affordability, tax cuts and law and order. Common sense that our voters will see produces results!

Delivering results!
Governor Ron Desantis cut taxes by almost $10 billion, cut spending year after year, maxed out the rainy day fund, paid off half the state’s historic debt, kept the budgets balanced with AAA ratings, pushed Amendment 3 to slash property taxes for homeowners, strengthened voter ID, banned ballot harvesting and Zuckerbucks, created an election crimes unit, signed the Florida SAVE Act to verify citizenship, wants a balanced budget amendment, wants to ban stock trading for Congress and the executive branch, backs term limits, and actually goes after special interests instead of kissing their ass. Every state should be ran like Florida.

As usual. Shady political consultants using DeSantis' name to pretend to be important and impress their cronies in the DC media.

Exactly. The left abandoned the traditional conception of environmental stewardship and natural resource protection in favor of climate ideology. We have done the largest environmental restoration project — the Everglades — in US history. We are now doing some of the federal projects related to the effort on behalf of the Feds (we do it quicker in FL). Huge accomplishment for our state and the nation!
Replying to @RonDeSantis
Ironically you’re actually really good on the environment, just real issues like clean water and preserving natural spaces. Just not the whack job climate scam ideas that jacks up fuel prices. You wouldn’t believe how my state blows “Climate Commitment Act” $ 🥴🤦🏼‍♀️

I remember how bad red tide was when i moved here in 2017. I moved here for the beautiful beaches but the lake water releases from Okeechobee into the rivers leading to the gulf and Atlantic were causing the horrible algal blooms. I literally only voted for you in 2018 bc you had a plan to fix that issue and the other guy didn’t….and you actually did what you said you were going to do.

Confirming Lee to the Court of Appeals is essential — will pay dividends for decades.
President Trump nominated U.S. District Judge for the Eastern District of Arkansas Lee Rudofsky to serve on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. This appellate court covers Arkansas, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. There is a very limited window to confirm Rudofsky--before Senate Democrats block him. Arkansas' two Republican home-state senators--@JohnBoozman and @TomCottonAR--are blocking Rudofsky, as they wanted someone else. (They have @JohnCornyn and @SenThomTillis doing their bidding for them.) They need to change their minds--and fast--or Republicans will lose this key appellate court seat. Cornyn and Tillis are leaving the Senate. But this is an unforgivable sin for Boozman and Cotton.
