BARE METAL CONSENSUS Most blockchains run like this: Application → Virtual Machine → Operating System → Kernel Scheduler → Drivers → Hardware That stack works for general software. It is fragile for strictly deterministic replicated computation. An operating system is not neutral. It introduces: • thread scheduling variance • interrupt timing differences • memory allocation nondeterminism • background process interference • socket buffering behavior All increase nondeterministic variance in execution timing and memory behavior. Most chains tolerate this. Qubic cannot. Because most blockchains only need agreement on final state. They do not verify bit-level equivalence of how that state was reached. They agree on containers. They do not require identical execution paths. Qubic’s model is different. All 676 Computors execute the same instructions during the exact same tick. Each produces a state/output hash. The network state advances only if a quorum of 451+ identical hashes matches perfectly. Consensus is execution. If execution itself is the consensus mechanism, the environment becomes part of consensus security. You cannot rely on: • nondeterministic kernel scheduling • preemptive multitasking • asynchronous system noise Even small variances accumulate. Qubic boots directly via UEFI into a bare-metal environment. It does not run as a daemon on Linux or Windows. Production Computors execute a unified runtime that controls: • scheduling • memory management • networking • timing The execution path is intentionally constrained. This is not about minimalism. It is about convergence. When hundreds of machines must compute the same result at the same logical tick boundary, you remove everything that can introduce divergence. Determinism is engineered. Two identical programs running on two different OS environments may produce identical results most of the time. But “most of the time” is insufficient for computational quorum. Replication requires strict equivalence. A computational quorum requires: • deterministic instruction flow • deterministic memory behavior • synchronized logical timing • controlled hardware interaction General-purpose operating systems optimize flexibility. Qubic optimizes convergence. Removing the OS reduces: • scheduling unpredictability • hidden state transitions • external interference • attack surface tied to third-party kernels The compute engine becomes the system. Not an application inside a system. This architecture enables: • tick-synchronized execution • bit-level hash agreement • commit-or-null state transitions • deterministic resource accounting • oracle integration inside consensus $QUBIC qubic.org
‼️ Anthropic and Google researchers found a flaw that lets one crafted packet hijack a server during network boot, before Secure Boot checks the OS. Almost all servers on earth are affected. CVE-2026-97631 sits in TianoCore EDK II, code in the UEFI firmware of most servers.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The vulnerability is limited to servers actively PXE network-booting with vulnerable EDK II firmware; most servers boot from local disks and are unaffected in normal use, with Intel noting limited impact on supported products. github.com/tianocore/edk2… arstechnica.com/security/2026/…

👀👀👀 $qubic built in the boot layer. Uefi 😎 so um what other “decentralized” ai is built the same?? Global bare metal infrastructure = global ai freedom.

Epoch 236: $Qubic BPP9000 goes from 64 to 32 neurons Changed: the network size only. 32 ternary neurons instead of 64, 3 inputs each. Half the neurons, half the links (192 -> 96), half the table entries (1,728 -> 864). Unchanged: same BTC candle task, same data hash, same advance threshold of 2,190 mistakes on 8,760 steps, same 100,000 ticks. What it means: a solution now has half the structure to encode the series, so it has to be more compact. Random guessing makes ~4,380 mistakes. In our own runs a 64-neuron net reached ~2,550 (71% correct); our first 32-neuron nets stop around 3,863 (56%). The advance gate at 2,190 stays where it is. @_Qubic_ @c___f___b #Qubic

BPP9000 Ant Colony Mining $Qubic vs Bitcoin PoW - What a solution is Qubic: a small neural network (64 neurons), scored by its mistakes on 8,760 steps of BTC candle data BTC: a SHA-256 hash - Progress Qubic: a new solution only counts if it beats its parent - every improvement is kept BTC: memoryless lottery, every guess starts from zero - Structure Qubic: each computor grows its own colony - a tree of solutions on-chain BTC: one winning hash per block, the rest is thrown away - Verification Qubic: nodes recompute every score, the deposit comes back only for accepted solutions BTC: one hash check @_Qubic_ @c___f___b #Qubic $Qubic

$QUBIC borrowed an idea from ants, and it is more than thirty years old. In the early 1990s, researcher Marco Dorigo introduced ant colony optimization. The principle: an ant that finds a good path leaves a trail, and the ants that follow take it and reinforce it. None of them sees the big picture, yet the colony finds the way. Qubic mining follows the same logic. Miners search for small neural networks: 64 neurons with three states, 0, 1 or unknown, each connected to three others. A miner starts from an existing network, sometimes one found by another member of its pool, mutates it, explores, then refines. Its result is only kept if it strictly beats its starting point. With one major difference: the memory is not a pheromone. It is the record of accepted networks, which miners in the same pool extend together. And that record can be verified. Any node can replay a recipe and must get exactly the same score. A false result costs the Computor who publishes it a deposit of one million QU. Honesty check: these networks are still tiny, and their task is a benchmark, not general intelligence. Each epoch also starts again from a fresh root: progress accumulates over the week, not from one week to the next. But the principle is set: computation that, hour after hour, no longer starts from scratch. Miners who, like ants, extend the same trail.

$QUBIC does not deploy a smart contract in one click. Between the idea and mainnet, there is code, testing, a vote and an auction. Here is the full journey, step by step.

One day the market will move faster than people expect. The biggest regret won't be buying early. The biggest regret will be not buying enough while prices were ignored. Generational wealth is built before the crowd pays attention.

It's nice that we have Vitalik who brings attention to problems, not nice that he waited that long. I warned about #AI hacking cryptography 9 (nine) years ago. And even proposed a solution. reddit.com/r/Iota/comments/7… Hoomans are so slow...

Big Tech is building AI data centers that pull as much power as a city. $QUBIC flips the equation. Right now the race is to plug more GPUs into a grid that can't keep up. New connections take years. Qubic doesn't add load, it reuses it. With Useful Proof of Work, the compute miners already run goes into training AI (Aigarth) instead of solving pointless puzzles. Mining secures the network AND trains the AI. One energy bill, two jobs. That's how AI scales without waiting for the grid. ⚡

Every "AI coin" is a sticker on someone else's computer. If a CEO unplugs the API, your thesis dies. $QUBIC doesn't rent a brain. It grows one. 🧠
