Michael Block did something special this weekend. Sure, the golf was great. But I’m not talking about that. He did something even bigger than that. He conquered the jealousy, cynicism, snarkiness, and one-upmanship so prevalent in society and on the internet, which I’d suggest is even harder to do that make a hole-in-one. Nothing other people say or do is personal. Even when it feels personal, whatever someone does or says reflects what they have going on inside of them, not you. When you take things personally, you forget other people are acting “for” themselves, not “against” you.
