As of now, the plan is still for WWE Crown Jewel to take place in Saudi Arabia.
There’s a number of staff and talent that aren't happy about it at this point.

Bit harsh to criticize a bunch of people who didnt know him for not visiting him. Wade Barrett turning up with some grapes would have been a bit out of place.

If a person believes in there talent and is not lazy they are going to want to goto wwe. I think a lot of aew wrestlers stay in aew is because a security. Its not because they let wrestlers wrestle. Its because Tony will pay them to do nothing. When in reality if you have talent as Blake Monroe she going make way more in wwe.
Tony Khan might have committed one of the BIGGEST FUMBLES in women's wrestling history by letting Blake Monroe walk away from AEW. 😭
Let's get one thing straight. Blake Monroe isn't just another pretty face. She has the charisma, the presence, the athleticism, and the in-ring ability to become one of the GREATEST female wrestlers of all time.
Her technical wrestling, ring psychology, character work, and ability to command attention are on another level.
And here's where people are going to get upset.
Blake Monroe has a HIGHER CEILING than both Trish Stratus and Lita ever had.
Trish had the looks and charisma. Lita had the high-flying moves. But Blake Monroe brings the COMPLETE PACKAGE.
She's everything a modern women's wrestling superstar should be.
Tony Khan had a generational talent right in front of him and somehow couldn't figure out how to turn her into the face of AEW's women's division.
Now WWE has a future megastar on its hands while AEW fans are still pretending that putting on 30-minute wrestling matches automatically makes someone a superstar.
In five years, we might genuinely be discussing Blake Monroe as a bigger legend than Trish Stratus and Lita COMBINED.
Tony Khan didn't just fumble Blake Monroe. He potentially fumbled the future GOAT of women's wrestling.

Is it funny or just sad that this video has been the main topic of discourse in the IWC today?
Some of you are so fucking weird that you’ve claimed most people walking down the street wouldn’t even know who #Metallica is, all because of your parasocial hatred of Triple H.
Imagine being so consumed by your tribalism that you’re willing to pretend one of the biggest metal and rock bands in history isn’t widely recognizable just over dislike of #WWE.
The IWC really needs to go outside sometimes.

WWE is global, Canada had one of the best WrestleMania’s of all time, if Mania was at Wembley it would be legendary.
The Super Bowl should stay in America for instance, because the NFL only features American teams. WWE is not that and should be represented globally.
AEW doesn’t fill the void of WrestleMania is the problem. You guys keep saying they should “capitalize”.. but capitalize on what exactly?
People do not view WWE and AEW as the same thing, people need to accept this already.

AEW should absolutely counter program WM. As a wrestling fan, WM is the only PLE that should always be in America. It's such a big weekend for the wrestling industry. If WWE is taking it to Saudi, then AEW would be stupid not to capitalize on this and put something on in the US.

Tell me you don’t understand how Twitter works without telling me you don’t understand how Twitter works.
You don’t need to watch a show to have an opinion on whether a stable name is the drizzling shits.
Also, 946 is infinitely better suited to its group’s gimmick than The Last Outfit or The Cut are to theirs.
But remember the rules; whenever #AEW has bad creative, we have to deflect with “But what about #WWE?” Right? 🤦🏻

AEW calls this an upgrade 🤣😂 they took Andrades contract off the ghetto clipboard and put it in a picture frame 🖼️ when the Superior WWE had Penta’s contract in a luxurious custom made suitcase 🧳 get with the program kid

Security Alert: U.S. Mission Saudi Arabia (October 25, 2026)
Effective October 23, 2026, the Department of State ordered non-emergency U.S. government employees and U.S. government employee family members to leave Saudi Arabia due to safety risks.
Iranian-supported Houthis have engaged in hostilities against Saudi Arabia, including attacks on civilian airports and other critical infrastructure resulting in civilian casualties and severe travel disruptions. The hostilities have the potential to escalate rapidly beyond that immediate area.
U.S. government employees working in Saudi Arabia require special authorization from Chief of Mission to use any airport in Saudi Arabia following recent missile and UAV attacks on airports in the Kingdom.
King Khalid International Airport (RUH) in Riyadh announced a partial reopening as of October 25 for domestic flights and some international flights operated by national carriers. A limited number of flights normally based at RUH are operating out of Qassim-based Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz International Airport (ELQ).
Operations at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah (JED) are operational with some delays and cancellations.
Operations at King Fahd International Airport in Dammam (DMM) are operational with some delays and cancellations.
U.S. citizens should be aware of potential attacks on airports, airspace closures, flight cancellations, and travel disruptions. Please take extreme caution if you choose to use airports in Saudi Arabia. We recommend checking your flight departure status directly with the airline and with the airport.
