"Minas Morgul answered. There was a flare of livid lightnings & out of the city came a cry. Mingled with harsh high voices as of birds of prey & the shrill neighing of horses, there came a rending screech, shivering, rising swiftly to a piercing pitch beyond the range of hearing"

“Our task has never been to destroy evil, but to inspire good” THEY GET IT!!!!! THEY GET IT they understand gandalf’s purpose and why he’s such a good fit for narya (and why it’s narya Tolkien draws directly opposite the one ring so often)
Warm and eager was his spirit, for he was the enemy of Sauron, opposing the fire that devours and wastes with the fire that kindles.

Only 7 days to go till we return to Middle-earth in the third season of @TheRingsofPower
7 days until we see the darkness of Mordor, the majesty of the isle of Númenor, the dwarven halls of Khazad-dûm and the sweeping green valley of Imladris.

Me thinking of all the sorrow Elrond has faced in his life so far, before and in Rings of Power and realizing he's got 3000 more years of this sh*t...

Weyman teased Gandalf's season 3 story, saying: "He's on the lookout for people whose hearts have been chilled, that have been frozen. He's going to try and rewarm them."

Rings of Power star says Gandalf's story "suddenly becomes pretty epic" in season 3 gamesradar.com/entertainment…
"For Pharazôn had learned in Middle-earth of the strength of the realm of Sauron & of his hatred of Westernesse. [..] Great was the anger of Ar-Pharazôn at these tidings, and as he pondered long in secret, his heart was filled with the desire of power."

" It's interesting because when Sauron meets Celeborn again for the first time, in a long time... they have their own shared history as well. And then all of a sudden he's like, 'Well, I actually kind of know your wife now.' So it's a bit more complex, let's say."

I don't think i'll be posting much on here on the 11th, because with watching 4 episodes back to back my tiny little brain is not going to compute the Mt. Doom of information coming my way🙄

Their task was to circumvent Sauron. To bring help to the few tribes of Men that had rebelled from Melkor worship to stir up rebellion and to cause dissension and disarray among the dark East.

Well met, November. New The Rings of Power episodes draw near.
For he passed alone in disguise to Armenelos & to the courts of the King [..] Isildur passed through the guards & took from the Tree a fruit that hung upon it. But the guard was aroused & he was assailed & fought his way out receiving many wounds & escaped.

If true this could be an amazing scene with two really talented actors. Can't wait.

#TROPspoilers I wonder if the leak about Míriel & Círdan's conversation will be a discussion about sacrifice (👰♀️☹️) for the greater good re: Círdan's greatest desire being to leave for Valinor but knows his role is to linger and build ships until the final one sails (1/2)
10 days until Season 3 of The Rings of Power is released!!!

[NEWS] Amazon visited the Lauterbrunnen Valley in the Bernese Alps of Switzerland, which directly inspired Tolkien's vision of this Elven sanctuary.
"We flew a helicopter over it with a visual effects team who scanned the entire valley. We then situated our physical set in a virtual world inside that valley,” Milsted said

"I'm just trying to train everybody up in the West, which is the home of the Faithful, hoping to get the word out. I'm waiting to find out when we make our move, but reliant on Míriel because she's still my queen and my leader."
*neighs* you love to hear it.
