ik lestat was having war flashbacks every time louis wouldn’t even raise his eyes to respond and then he tries to offer sex and louis didn’t even want that and lestat must endure bc this is the closest thing he has to love

still kind of hilarious to me how louis started to list his "faults" in bullet points but then couldn't come up with another point after the second point so he proceeded to further elaborate the first point as a third point. he's really running out of things to say to armand lol

I was going to fix a poster today but I ended up writing Louis' note instead. Sorry about that.
Louis' not to Armand during the beheading it reads: SORRY 1) MAGNUS TOWER KISSING YOU IN FRONT OF LESTAT 2) COULDN'T PIN ME ON COMPANIONSHIP 3) KISSING YOU IN FRONT OF LESTAT. NOT FOR YOU NEVER FOR HIM.

also saying that's all we know abt tc is so dishonest and the actual misogynistic thing happening here??? her being in many previous bands means she's likely the most experienced band member, her worrying abt the prospect of settling down & having kids means tvl is likely her +
mer (@centaurybluet) profile picturemer@centaurybluetOct 29
Saw someone say that TC’s writing is misogynistic because all we know about her is that she was in multiple bands and was scared of getting pregnant… Well, all we know about Charlie is that he’s a sweet guy who rides a carriage.

last attempt at a music career which is why she’s going all in, her being once left at the altar means she prolly understands lestat’s fear of abandonment. not to mention we also know she vibes w lestat creatively, and we know she has a wicked sense of humor +

and we know exactly when & why she wanted to become a vampire. you think she’s being written misogynistically bc YOU don’t think about what we know about her beyond the surface bc YOU are misogynistic

Inspired by that one post about tied up Lestat in a wedding dress. It was a reblog of an AI image which is deleted now, so I'm not going to post it. Still loved the idea

Swanthula Boulet from the ‘The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula’ on a potential crossover with ‘The Vampire Lestat’: “The door is open. Sam Reid and Jacob Anderson, they need to be on the show as guest judges [...] I mean, it’s like a no-brainer.” 🔗: nerdist.com/article/the-boul…

the way the jesustat symbolism is cranked up to eleven in this ep, just so you know anytime you doubt his suffering you're just playing your humble part in the scripture 😌

s3 as not just a character study but as a uniquely nuanced and kind portrayal of male sexual abuse victims and how that trauma manifests in self worth and self image issues down the road

i feel like "was it abusive/incestuous grooming of gabi to say and do the things she did with her son" conversation immediately stops if you just imagine a father saying or doing those things to their daughter.

in addition to what everyone’s saying i really don’t think an approach to gabistat that heightens the abuse and centers lestat’s trauma necessarily indicates that we won’t be seeing a more dimensional gabriella in future seasons
