A Christian mother, Liyatu Samuel Dawa, from Gwoza in Nigeria's northeastern Borno State, has been sentenced to 14 years in prison following a case involving a Muslim woman who converted to Christianity.
The converted woman testified in court that she had embraced Christianity voluntarily and had not been pressured or forced by anyone.
Despite her testimony, Borno State High Court Judge A. B. Kumdila imposed concurrent prison sentences carrying a maximum term of 14 years, without the option of paying a fine.
Dawa maintained that she had merely offered the woman advice, telling the court: "I only gave her advice. That's all."
Her husband, evangelical Christian Amos Suleman, spent several months in prison before being released on bail. He says he is now living in hiding after receiving death threats from Islamist extremists.

It only takes a chronic fool to be a Christian and still be gaslit by talks of islamophobia or discrimination after all the Nigeria church in Nigeria has experienced in the last 2 decades.

URGENT PUBLIC APPEAL
I never imagined having to make a post like this, but I desperately need your help.
On October 31, while covering a wedding at Oriental Hotel, Lagos, my bag was stolen from inside the bride's room.
The bag contained my MacBook Pro M1 and
FOUR external hard drives holding approximately FIVE weddings yet to be delivered to my clients.
These are not just files. They are people's once in a lifetime memories, months of hard work and my livelihood.
Thankfully, we have obtained CCTV footage showing the individual entering, taking my bag and leaving the hotel.
I'm offering a N500,000 REWARD for credible information leading to the identification of this individual and recovery of my belongings through the appropriate authorities.
Please you can send a message or call this number for any update 09033892670

She ran under a hail of bullets while in labour.
On June 21st, Longdi ThankGod arrived at the hospital to give birth to her first child. Minutes later, terrorists stormed that same hospital.
Inside the reception, they killed her husband, her in-laws, her doctor, and her taxi driver.
Longdi escaped through an emergency exit while in active labour. Under gunfire, she ran 500 meters and delivered her baby alone in the bush.
She named him Naankibanmun — "God helped us."
He was orphaned on the day he was born, in the place he was supposed to meet his father.
Three months later, Longdi is still living with the trauma. We cannot look away.
Meet Dr. Lawrence Bayode, Director of ICT at INEC. He has been accused of allowing (or overseeing) the insertion of AI-generated photographs into the voter register, raising suspicions of attempts to manipulate the 2027 elections.
He was also a key ICT official when INEC claimed that a “technical glitch” affected only the presidential election results in 2023.
Consider this: the presidential, senatorial, and House of Representatives elections were held on the same day, at the same polling units, using the same BVAS machines. Yet INEC insisted that only the presidential election results were affected by the glitch.
Despite these controversies and public outcry, he remains in the same sensitive position, no sack, no transfer, no reprimand.
He is also reported to be a pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).

If you can donate, please help us. If you can’t, please repost.

Efetobore Timilehin Tega-Taire, a 21-year-old final-year anthropology student at the University of Ibadan (UI), can no longer see with either eye, and his father is struggling to raise N15.92 million for surgeries that doctors say could restore his sight.
Timilehin, who was preparing for his final examinations and sign-out ceremony in November, has had problems with his eyesight for about five years. However, his condition recently worsened, leading to further medical interventions at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan.
Lucky Tega-Taire, his father who lives in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, told FIJ that the family had been referred to Skipper Eye-Q Super Specialty Eye Hospitals in Victoria Island, Lagos, after UCH said it lacked the necessary equipment to treat him.
According to Tega-Taire, the hospital has estimated the cost of surgery at N7.96 million per eye, leaving the family with a total bill of N15.92 million for both eyes. He said the family had raised only N1.5 million and was appealing to the public for help.
