the happiest i'd been as a mom (and maybe ever?) was when i was living in downtown Toronto with my newborn. Everything walking distance. Close to many friends, amazing museums, arts, the beach, the island, cafes. tiny condo but therefore no stairs in home to climb up and down with holding baby. I was out all of the time anyway. Elite existence.
