Xでの言及を見ると本当にそのように感じることが多い。特に「AIが人類を憎んで攻撃してくる」と考えてそれに反論している人が多い印象（実際は違う）。とはいえ、前提を知らないとそのように考えてしまうのも仕方ないかな、とは思う。
AIによる人類滅亡の話は誰でも一家言を持てるので、普段なら交わらない人たちまで議論に入ってくる。
ただ、長年検討されてきた論点だと知られていないことが多い。
議論の蓄積があると想像されにくいのでしょう。

この話を実感するためには、高性能なAIを実際に使ってみることが大切だと思う。ChatGPTで簡単な質問をするだけではピンと来なくてもCodexやClaude Codeのようなコーディングエージェントを使うと、その能力の高さから見方が変わるかもしれない。
それにしても今のような高性能なAIが存在しなかった25年前から理論的な考察によってAIによる人類滅亡リスクを具体的に論じていたユドコウスキーの先見性には驚かされる。

Introducing FrontierCode 2.0: our new coding benchmark that measures a model’s ability to go beyond the spec.
Most coding evals measure a model’s ability to write code that meets a spec. With FrontierCode 1.0, we asked a new question: would you actually merge the PR?
FrontierCode 2.0 is comprised of more diverse tasks, featuring larger scopes and higher mergeability standards. We are now asking: not only would you merge this PR, but should you?
One key feature of FrontierCode 2.0 is underspecified prompts. Rather than including every engineering decision, prompts are deliberately ambiguous, giving the models room to demonstrate their judgment.
The result is a benchmark that is far from saturated, with the top model scoring just 45%.
