The prime minister asks us to cut down on fuel, and does a road show himself. His vehicles run on water?
VIDEO | Vadodara is fully geared up for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s proposed roadshow, with preparations now in the final phase.
The Prime Minister will visit his karmabhoomi Vadodara tomorrow, where a 1.5-kilometre-long roadshow from Gada Circle to the airport has been planned to celebrate the local self-government election results and the major victory in West Bengal.
Suddenly Prime Minister is appealing to farmers that they should avoid fertilizers and move to natural farming. This is insane. Any move away from fertilisers will cause huge food scarcity.Sri Lanka tried it & ended up with food inflation of 50% inviting a mass revolt in 2022.

Notice how BJP has dropped the NCR & CAA noises. The objective was the same, to win elections. They have realized SIR is much simpler to implement, way more opaque and impossible to challenge.

I am now ready to make a prediction for 2029 general election.
BJP alone will win 420+ LS seats.
In next 3 yrs, surgical SIR in remaining states. Gyanesh’s term ends in 2029, who will retire after the election.

Fifth reminder.
Until opposition parties boycott all elections, nothing will change.
Nobody can win against the funds of AdaniAmbani, the muscle of ED, the bias of SC and the complicity of ECI.
Karte raho try.

The big mistake opposition leaders make is that they believe in themselves a little too much and in the rot of the system a little too less.
So they keep fighting elections where the victory has already been decided somewhere in a back room. They know it, everyone knows it, but walking out means no government, no power, nothing. So they take their chances. And they lose. And in losing, they do something far more damaging than losing.
They make the whole thing look real. They legitimize the corrupted system.
That's what happened with TMC. The sangh was never really worried. They knew Mamata would fight. A party like that cannot afford to not fight. And so she did, and so it went exactly as it was meant to go. The trap had been laid.
The thing is, there was another way. Not a guaranteed way, but a braver one. A party of TMC's size and popularity publicly walking out and saying we refuse to participate in this farce.
It would have been a move for which the sangh wasn't prepared.
It has never really happened in India at that scale. It would have forced people to sit up and ask why. It would have been loud in a way that no protest after a lost election ever is. It would have forced the commission and the courts to totally shed the masks and expose themselves.
Post-defeat noise is just noise. Pre-election defiance is a statement. The world would have noticed and questioned it.
But that didn't happen. And now no amount of protests, statements or anger changes anything. Everyone will say the verdict is the people's verdict. The commission was neutral. The courts were watching. So why cry now.
The worst part - the fake popularity of one man has gotten further strengthened.

BJP performed badly in 2024 from their earlier position & fell short of majority
But within 2 yrs they’re winning most state elections almost by a landslide!
I am sure voters have suddenly been surprised by some great Modi performance & achievements in last 2 yrs 😇

To my mind, this Bengal election is a litmus test of whether we have fallen below the minimum threshold of electoral integrity, whether electoral democracy has any future at all. I cannot get into numbers, but all the credible information that I have been able to gather so far points to a comfortable lead for the TMC, more than enough to make up for the SIR damage. If despite this the ECI manages to conjure a victory for BJP, this has to be the result of an electoral fraud. Such an (unlikely, despite what exit polls say) event must get the entire opposition to come together and ask if there is any point of contesting any more elections under these circumstances. — Yogendra Yadav

Mumbai is now a free-for all paradise for builders and contractors with friends in power:
Cut as many trees as you want, conjure up with ridiculous infra projects worth thousands of crores, build high-rises in places fire engines can't reach.
