My entry for the @recraftai x @contra Archive Style Challenge.
I picked J. J. Grandville, a French artist who back in 1829 drew Parisians with animal heads. He was way ahead of his time, the Surrealists later called him one of their own. I always like turning things into a system, so I thought it would be fun to make a game out of it: Qui suis-je?, where you stick a card on your forehead and guess who you are, with 27 modern types from the crypto bro bull to the kangaroo sneakerhead. Recraft draws in his style surprisingly well, I really enjoyed working with it. Thanks Recraft for the challenge, hugs to everyone!

Try the style and make your own deck, I’d love to see who you come up with.

I just like making things like this.
I made this one as an experiment without opening a single design app. Basically, I just kept telling Codex what I wanted it to do.
It’s not a magic button. It took around 100 prompts. But the fact that you can make something like this just by talking, without touching a keyboard or mouse, is still pretty wild.
And the whole thing runs and renders right in the browser.

Enjoy our recent brand and design project for the Databricks Developer Portal. 🔉
While many companies prefer to fully vibe-code their websites, I’m glad Databricks used vibe coding the right way - mainly for quick prototyping and communicating the overall page structure and messaging with our design team, rather than defining the final look.
I’m really happy with how all our concepts and ideas, after passing through the prism of actual business needs, translated into a visual direction that feels mature and professional while still staying appealing to developers.
Go and check it out for yourself at developers . databricks . com. Especially the interactive hero section, which is full of Easter eggs.
Sorry for the late reply, @guidorosso.
First of all, thank you @rive and @contra for running this challenge 🙏
You asked how I managed to use vector feathering and still keep the performance reasonable.
My usual process is to push things to the limit first. I try to see how far I can go visually, where the performance starts to break, and what the actual limits are.
After that, I start optimizing and looking for ways to keep the final version as close as possible to the “maxed out” one.
Thanks again for the question and the challenge. Next time I’ll definitely try to join the call 😄
We’re LIVE announcing the winners of the Impossible UI with @rive_app Challenge 🏆

Tried something completely new for myself.
I built a game world.
It started as a small idea, but then I kept going deeper: world rules, game mechanics, characters, backstories, motivations, and the story behind everything.
I kept asking myself:
why does this world exist?
what drives these characters?
how does this actually work?
In the end, it turned into a whole game world.
And once that world was there, making a teaser for it didn’t feel that hard anymore.
It was really fun ✨

With Rive accessibility features releasing soon, this is about to become the best way to build hyper-performant experiences than can run anywhere - web, mobile apps, game engines - with full accessibility and responsiveness
My entry for the @rive_app Impossible UI challenge ✨
I gave myself an extra challenge: to build a small story around the interface.
So I made an alien planetary catalog.
For them, Earth is an oxygen-water hazard.
And some planets that are deadly for humans might actually be viable for them.
Fully built in Rive: data binding, state machines, scripted components, sounds, and much more.
You can play with it live here: rive.app/marketplace/27516-5…
Thanks for the challenge, Rive. This was really fun 👽
