Tether's new BDO assurance report shows $191.45B in assets against $183.50B in liabilities for USDT's issuer at Sept. 30, a $7.95B surplus. The opinion covers that point-in-time snapshot, not the full quarter. Informational only. Not financial advice.

Galaxy Digital says it applied to the OCC to establish Galaxy National Bank. If approved, the national trust bank would put its digital-asset custody, trading and staking services under one federal framework. The filing is an application, not an approval.

Chainlink 24/7 is live, extending onchain price feeds for supported stocks and other RWAs through weekends and holidays. Off-hours prices use quotes from multiple perp venues, not closed exchanges. Aave is adopting it to value RWA collateral around the clock.

The ECB selected two provider groups to connect banks and payment firms to its digital euro platform. One contract covers the pilot; both must be ready by 2029 for potential issuance, which still depends on a Governing Council decision.

Arbitrum's Security Council froze 8,425 ETH and 74.56M ARB linked to the Binance exploit. It briefly upgraded Arbitrum One's Inbox contract on Ethereum to move the assets, then restored the original code. Releasing them now requires an ArbitrumDAO vote.

Binance says a security incident caused an estimated $6.3B impact, with about $3B frozen on-chain. Withdrawals are temporarily suspended; deposits remain active. The exchange found no evidence of a private-key leak and says a technical post-mortem is pending.

Gattaca has launched Silver, an open-source Ethereum consensus client in alpha. Its repo supports mainnet, Fulu and Gloas, while audits and final testing are still underway. More client diversity is useful; production confidence still has to be earned.

BNB Smart Chain's Jenner hard fork is live on Chapel testnet. It adds a Payment Lane reserving 5% of block gas for eligible payments, millisecond timestamps and CAS20 infrastructure. The lane and CAS20 need governance enablement; mainnet is not scheduled.

Reactive Network completed its Omni mainnet migration, replacing its Geth/Prysm stack with CometBFT. Blocks now arrive in about 1 second instead of 7, while reactive contracts deploy once as standard Solidity and existing chain state carries over.

Celestia introduced Voyager, a payments-focused chain architecture. In a five-hour lab run, one node averaged 21.2M transfers/sec across 100M accounts. It is not production-ready yet: replication, state roots and live status queries are still pending.

The ECB says its Pontes DLT settlement service will significantly extend hours by mid-2027, add immediate settlement finality as early as next year, and move to 24/7/365 in 2028. Europe's tokenized markets are getting central-bank-money rails.

Stellar is now a default network in MetaMask Mobile and Extension. Users can manage XLM, trustline assets and Soroban tokens from a multichain account, while Stellar addresses activate only after receiving at least 1 XLM. Wallet support just widened.

Bitcoin Core released fixes for two medium-severity and one low-severity LLM-discovered vulnerabilities in 29.5, 30.4, 31.2 and 32.1. One can let a malicious peer crash Windows, macOS or BSD nodes. The undo-file issue remains on 32-bit systems and FAT32.

Solana has released standardized off-chain message signing. Compatible wallets sign readable login or authorization messages in a domain that cannot become a valid transaction, avoiding network fees and RPC calls. Cleaner wallet UX, sharper security boundary.
