I mentioned three races in this post but a close 4th for me would be the epic @yoderbegley performance in the 2008 Olympic Trials 10K.
A conversation over a beer between two track geeks often leads the question of “what’s the best race you’ve ever witnessed?”

What a difference a year makes. September 17th 2022 winning the US 10k Road Champs, September 17th 2023 I gave birth to my daughter Sophia. Motherhood and chasing dreams go hand in hand.

A big misconception is that you need to be motivated to get rolling.
You don't.
Research shows that motivation FOLLOWS action, not the other way around.
In practice: you don't need to feel good to get going, you need to get going to give yourself a chance at feeling good.
