Fun example of how this staff gets info on what a Def is doing then puts in a call that often will use the defense's own scheme against itself. Results in a Richie bucket here and a really smooth offensive possession against a Def that wants to muck things up

BYU's only shot 20-66 (30.3%) on a free throw rate of 50% through the two public exhibitions so once those start going like the should the offense should start to really hum more consistently
Here are the teams with the most elite 3PT shooters on their roster, based on preseason projections at EvanMiya.com:
BYU has FIVE guys on the list 👇
Watching some of that beatdown from the Women's exhibition game and always appreciate how Benally reads the game. Catches it on a kick out and I like this skip pass to go straight to the advantage player instead of giving the defense a chance to rotate and possibly recover
Big week for Yoeli with some impressive double doubles. He takes the top performance of the week but Fouss still right there with another 20+ point double double.
Zac lit it up in a Eurocup win and Egor had his first big game of the season against the Cavs

Here's the alumni wraparound for the last week. Egor had his first big game this season vs the Cavs. Big assist game for Frank in Greece, Mag continues to get minutes in the NBL and Zac was lights out from deep in his Eurocup game (7/10)

Looking at the shooting splits again and the starters held the lineups they faced to 44% from two in forty-seven possessions, pretty good
Jimmer makes his return to wearing the Red, White, and Blue this weekend in the FIBA 3x3 Americup.
Team USA has won 4 of the 5 Americups that have taken place and the last one Jimmer played in. They'll be heavy favorites again this year.

Nice setup from Brooks here in two man game with Dean. Able to get in the paint then a nice drop off to Khadim. Brooks has been solid through the first few exhibitions, will be interesting to see if he can start carving out more of role
Cougs played the first half of the 2nd basically even then locked in, holding UNLV to 0.73 PPP while putting up 1.67 PPP over the next 6 and a half minutes to take control of the game and put it away
I'm always a fan of using your best players as a screener. Check out Bruce's slight push on the defender to create slightly more runway for himself then nice touch from Collin on the pass, good hands for the catch, and the finish through contact

BYU locked down on defense and started making shots, they're now up to 1.03 points per chance with UNLV dropping to 0.85 (chance is basically possessions + oreb)
