CHECKOWNNFT is a great OPCODE. It requires the person to own a certain amount of NFT. uses include:
* require someone to own a certain amount of an NFT to move an on-chain asset. this condition can be combined with other spending conditions.
* servers can use NFTs as access keys -- so that only users who own an NFT can login, access content, get premium features, etc. this is how Saito Vault works. the script isn't protecting a spendable access, it is controlling access to off-chain resources and services.
