Years ago, @erikdkennedy wrote an awesome piece on using color in UI Design (t.ly/F3pq) and inspired me to build mixins for handling monochromes. I've since created Huey, a two-dimensional palette generator for UI designers. huey.design
ALT Huey, a color palette generator for UI design. Build your monochromes across an entire family of hues.
Thanks for using Huey! I'm always improving it, so feel free to make requests 😀
I'm actually using this right now! It generates color names, as well as CSS/SCSS variables, and Tailwind configs too. huey.design/
And just when I was doing some planning for Bastille Day this year 😅 What timing!

I love maps & their promise of fractal discovery.
I love procedural generation and the aesthetics of the unauthored.
Where do these two loves intersect? Generated maps.
I am the procgen map admirer. These are my favorite map generators and the folks who create them.

With all of the advancements in biotech, nanobots, quantum computing, etc., it amazes me that a simple medium we used as kids (corrugated cardboard) hasn't lost its capacity for imaginative play…even this far into adulthood. #NintendoLabo
I am both enthralled and entertained by the fact that the future is—at least in part—made of corrugated cardboard. #NintendoLabo

Somewhere up in heaven, @johndunsworth is watching over us all like a guardian shit hawk.
Rest in peace. You brought the sun to Sunnyvale.
I imagine if I sent follow-up surveys after 1st dates like @Delta does to passengers after flights I'd prob never have a 2nd date
